This LED strip was just what I needed to brighten up the area inside and under my camper cabinets. I bought the soft white strip and am very pleased. The light strip is covered with a clear silicon rubber that makes the entire string very flexible, durable, and waterproof. Safe places to cut the strip are marked on the strip, making it easy to cut to length. Any length can be cut, as long as you cut where indicated. I cut three lengths to install in/under my cabinets. I cleaned off the clear silicon rubber covering to expose the solder pads with an exacto knife and easily soldered wires to the strip. The power and ground wires can be soldered to any set of pads anywhere along the string and it will power the entire string. Make sure to make the proper pos and neg connections, as LEDs are sensitive to polarity. Polarity is marked on the strip. The adhesive back sticks very well to a smooth surface. Very low current draw. Perfect for my installation. I have plenty left over and am looking for other places to use it!

Lights were very easy to connect to an existing circuit and switch on my camper, despite the fact that no instructions were provided with the product. Cleaned the side of the camper where they were to be installed (under the awning on the fiberglass siding) and allowed it to thoroughly dry. I then connected the wires and turne on the switch to make sure the lights functioned. I then started peeling the backing from the adhesive side and slowly sticking it to the camper. I must say the length was almost perfect. After installation I again switched on the lights to verify functionality, all appeared well at this point, very bright all LEDs appeared to be working. Two weeks later I am getting ready to pack the camper for a trip, all my lights are hanging down the side of my camper and in the dirt on the ground. I tried in vain to re-attach them to no avail, the adhesive simply would not hold

I bought this to light the inside of my 17 foot diameter tent. I wasnt sure if it would be bright enough based on just the description alone. I bought one strip and figured Id get another one later, if needed. As it turned out, the second one wasnt necessary. One strip is plenty bright. I didnt need to use the adhesive backed tape, as the tent had some small strings running the circumference inside. I simply looped the light strip around these and it stayed perfectly. I am running it off of an RV/Marine deep cycle battery. So I ran a line from the battery into the tent and hooked it up to a switch. Then I ran a line from the switch to the lights and now I have real indoor lighting inside my tent. No flashlights or lanterns required. These worked out very well. I would buy again if I ever need more.

I cut a short 5 foot section and wrapped it around the bowl of an outdoor dry fountain to provide a nice glow from the fountain at night. These are perfect as the light is warm, not too harsh. The thing that impresses me the most is that they have remained in full working order after 6 months in the Arizona summer. The fountain is not covered, so they have also been soaked in the occasional rains we get. The backing tape looks pretty beaten up, but what do you expect in the harsh environment they are being used in. I love it when something inexpensive totally out performs expectations.

I used this to make an illuminated stripe in my garage to park my car. Installed it in a section of extruded aluminum, such that the tape is enclosed so the car tire cannot damage it, and yet it still lights up as a parking stripe. So far so good.

The only complaint I have about this would be that the color temperature seems a bit off. I ordered the warm white which should be around 3000k and it looks a bit more white/blue almost. I have it installed in a room next to a different brand of warm white 3000k leds and there is a significant difference. It’s not a huge deal but definitely noticeable. For a isolated application it’s a good light. Not super bright but bright enough. Dimming works great.
