> 3 dayAfter reading the reviews, I came to the conclusion that the ones who had trouble sticking them were just doing it all wrong. When the lights arrived I sat the little lady down and carefully mansplained the cleaning process, temporarily forgetting that she has kept our house spotless for 50+ years. None the less, I supervised the cleaning process despite icy silence from my true love. At great risk to life, limb and fantastic home-cooked meals I pronounced the area to be absolutely clean and ready for the lights. These lights DO NOT stick and are not worth the money or the strain on my marriage.

> 3 dayAdhesive sucks, but I didnt expect it to hold anyway I prefer to use hot glue on the edges to hold it down. I put these in a camper that I built as the lighting source and they turned out super cool look at the pictures for the results. Install was just as easy as lights that cost a couple hundred bucks a roll and it cost me $10... Just like many things you get what you pay for but I dont think buying the cheap ones here affected the lights for now Its been one year and they still seem to all be working

> 3 dayI cut a short 5 foot section and wrapped it around the bowl of an outdoor dry fountain to provide a nice glow from the fountain at night. These are perfect as the light is warm, not too harsh. The thing that impresses me the most is that they have remained in full working order after 6 months in the Arizona summer. The fountain is not covered, so they have also been soaked in the occasional rains we get. The backing tape looks pretty beaten up, but what do you expect in the harsh environment they are being used in. I love it when something inexpensive totally out performs expectations.

> 3 dayFirst, the strip light itself is very attractive. I purchased this specific model because I have an outdoor application. The strip has a rubberized cover that protects the LEDs and contacts from the elements. HOWEVER, due to the bulky cover, it is not directly possible to use the strip connectors to tie strips together (or cut and splice). One has to completely remove the cover with a sharp knife and take care not to cut into the strip itself. All of the rubber has to come off to expose the contacts. I can already tell, after one connector fix, that its going to be a lot of work to turn this into 5 short segments with wires and connectors bridging them.

02-11-2024Looks like it couldve been nice, I ended up pulling the terminal wires from the LED strip while installing. I do not think this was a manufacturer defect just my own negligence. Purchased to replace the eye killing OEM blue LED under my RV awning, and they fit almost perfectly, came up about 4 short, not a big deal I just centered them in the track. I tested after unpacking and all diodes lit up nice and bright, the adhesive is just was youd expect for not being 3M. I did have the awning track to install this strip in, so the adhesive in combination with the track, the lights held firmly in place. Well... At least in the driveway before I had to remove them. So in the trash with these ones and placing an order for another set. Couldve easily been a 5 star, but with the limited amount of time I had with them, I couldnt rate them fairly as a 5.

> 3 dayThese lights do not completely stick no matter what I do. Theyve fallen down numerous times & I thoroughly cleaned the surface with alcohol first & let it dry. They do not bend well, so they dont go around edges or corners. The connection also buzzes, which could be the adapter & not the lights, but dont know. Not worth the aggravation.

> 3 dayThese worked well for adding light to my 6 x 12 enclose trailer. I cut each 16 foot roo into 3 equal pieces and used a total of 2 rolls to complete my project. The only thing I didnt care for was that the set never came with the connection with the wire already attached to run the third strip after cutting it to length. I realize you can purchase these for really cheap so I think these sets should at least come with one of these connections. Instead they come with a connection to add the strips together to make a continuous string, which is good to have for certain applications but the ones with wires are would be nice for applications such as mine. I had to make my own with some small wire I had laying around. If you do this you must use a thin wire such as 20 or 22 gauge and make sure that the wire ends dont touch each other in the connection. Please note that I cut the plug off the end and ran my own power wire and ground wire from my battery power source in the trailer. Other than that only time will tell if they last and work as they should.

> 3 dayI was skeptical at first how well the adhesive would stick but it actually done really well. I ended up buying 2 of the 16’ strips to go down each side of my 17’ Dominator Fishing boat and ended up having extra to go under my storage area and my dash. It has a cut line on it so you can cut off the excess off one end and you can just cut the adaptor plug off and strip back the wires and reuse. I ended up also purchasing the lighted rocker switch on here as well and it was a perfect combination! Really digging these lights on the boat. Looks like it was made to go where I installed. The width was around a 1/4” so it tucked perfectly under the lip on both sides of the boat. So far I’m digging it. I actually ordered my buddy some. After he saw it, he had to have it too! If I have some issues on it coming off I will update my review. For now all seems fine! Hope this helps someone.

> 3 dayI bought this to light the inside of my 17 foot diameter tent. I wasnt sure if it would be bright enough based on just the description alone. I bought one strip and figured Id get another one later, if needed. As it turned out, the second one wasnt necessary. One strip is plenty bright. I didnt need to use the adhesive backed tape, as the tent had some small strings running the circumference inside. I simply looped the light strip around these and it stayed perfectly. I am running it off of an RV/Marine deep cycle battery. So I ran a line from the battery into the tent and hooked it up to a switch. Then I ran a line from the switch to the lights and now I have real indoor lighting inside my tent. No flashlights or lanterns required. These worked out very well. I would buy again if I ever need more.
