Works great indoors but outdoors did not stick well to vynil porch railings, wood trim or decking. Quickly peeled as soon as it rained. I was very happy with the product for indoor use though.

These are a very good deal, and I was able to connect them to 12V 1-amp converter (for 120V) that I had around the house. Unfortunately they are not the warm white 2700K advertised, and I would guess they are somewhere in the mid-3500K (cool white) range. They are quite bright for LEDs which will be useful for some applications, but in my case - for hidden cabinet lighting - they are a bit too bright given that they are cool white and not warm white. They installed easily, and it was simple to cut them to length. The adhesive backing works reasonably well, although it actually was peeling away from the light strip in some places even as I applied it. UPDATED: I figured out a quick-fix for overly bright cool-white light strips like these. Get some yellow-ochre oil paint. It takes about 5 minutes to dap a bit on each LED for the entire strip, and for under cabinet lighting (hidden) it works very well. I am attaching a before and after for just one bay of a cabinet where we wanted warm-white lighting, and the light from these cool-white LED strips was too harsh. In some cases we decided we needed a second coat, so dont worry about blocking the light - the paint can be wiped off or added to get the right tone.

I hated the outdoor light on our RV. I purchased this and we put it on our RV from the light right next to the door and back. It adheres well and has stayed put now for at least 6 weeks. It’s a huge improvement. We can see outside and the stairs well but it’s not annoying. I’d recommend this.

If you were going to use their connector, and do no splicing, I am sure that this stuff is great. But if you plan on cutting it at all and doing any splicing, avoid and look elsewhere. The waterproof coating is absolutely impossible to get off.

Did not stick to the fiberglass. I used alcohol to wipe down prior to sticking; poor adhesion.

Looks like it couldve been nice, I ended up pulling the terminal wires from the LED strip while installing. I do not think this was a manufacturer defect just my own negligence. Purchased to replace the eye killing OEM blue LED under my RV awning, and they fit almost perfectly, came up about 4 short, not a big deal I just centered them in the track. I tested after unpacking and all diodes lit up nice and bright, the adhesive is just was youd expect for not being 3M. I did have the awning track to install this strip in, so the adhesive in combination with the track, the lights held firmly in place. Well... At least in the driveway before I had to remove them. So in the trash with these ones and placing an order for another set. Couldve easily been a 5 star, but with the limited amount of time I had with them, I couldnt rate them fairly as a 5.

Adhesion sucks but lights are bright. There’s are mounted under the top rail in a boat, the adhesion is a joke. On one side of the boat I run a bead of silicone then place these into it; on the other side I ran some double sided gorilla tape, then placed these on top. As for the lights, I cut the strips to fit, and cut off the provided plug and used heat shrink+Solder butt connectors, so far so good. Look nice at night. One summer and duck season in the books, they work like a champ. Another duck season and summer over; still going strong. I really like these lights.
