Great technology and will limit how much you use the full size vacuum, depending on traffic patterns and pets. However the Shark App is buggy and the app support is poor; called on a Thursday, the level one person could not resolve a registration problem, it is now Tuesday night and have yet to hear from Shark... Without the app you can use the robot but would asssume it was designed to learn via AI which would greatly improve what the vacuum can do through learning.... I will report back after Shark support gets the app working..., overall the technology is still emerging but is still impressive but comes at a high price. Cant wait to see were appliance robot technology is in a couple of years.

Maps easy and runs it’s course. But does nut vacuum that well leaves small bits and bugs. The Ben is only filled with dust after 3 months of use.

When I first got it, the option to have it dock after 30 mins of cleaning was on and it was taking almost a full day to clean my 1900 sq ft home between cleaning and charging. In fact, I was in the process of returning it because of this. However, once I realized what the issue was and shut it off, it was better. Even still, it will only clean about an hour before the battery runs low and it has to dock. After an hour of charging, it will then will start again and finish the rest of my house in the next hour. I still dont get the inefficient cleaning pattern it chooses because it will clean one room then all of a sudden go across my house to clean another room only to have to make a bee-line back to the first room to finish. I used to have another unknown brand that I loved but it was damaged by a dog toy that clogged the roller and damaged the part that holds and spins the roller. After about a month of research and comparison shopping, I chose this model based on the reviews and the features it had. It does a good job and eventually it will clean the house over a 3 hour period - so its good for now. Pros: - Good suction - does well with pet hair; I have 3 dogs and a cat - The self-empty feature is really good and not as noisy as others while emptying - It does eventually clean every area of my house, well - Back and forth cleaning pattern vs. bump and go - Always finds its way back to the docking station - Handles all my rugs well without getting stuck, dragging them or folding them over. Cons: - Battery life stinks - App is terrible - I have to log in each time I open it. Plus, it does not show you real-time information - it is only available after it docks.

26 minutes, mapped the whole house. No errors. Doesnt bump into thing, which previous version did until it broke three bumpers. This one is louder. But does a great job. Working with Alexa is not great I give it a room to clean, then it clear the whole house. The app works perfect They should put a small piezoelectric spk that runs on a button battery for locating the unit when the main battery dies.

I chose this to replace my less smart random motion robot. I wanted something a little more organized and with good suction for my carpet. This guy (“Wall-E”) made a pretty great map his first run. I was worried because a lot of reviews said he never does a good job on their map. I followed the setup instructions and he made a full “checking the scene out” run without having to be recharged and the map is accurate. Wall-e does tend to get stuck on things and shut down which is annoying when I’m at work and can’t do anything about it until he’s fully dead. At least he shuts himself down and doesn’t hurt himself trying to get free. But it’s my fault for not picking little things up. keep his path clear and he will do a great job for you. He does a great job on my carpet and wood floors. No problems with rugs. He doesn’t like my sliding glass door trays but he can navigate them ok just gets a little hung up. The emptying mechanism is great. Loud for any night-time use but I don’t use it at night anyway. I’ve done specific rooms once and it worked for me (other reviews were negative on this feature) but I think that has to do with the map. If the map isn’t right then it won’t work. No complaints with the battery life I haven’t really timed it out but my 2800 sq ft house can be done with maybe 1-2 battery charges and it takes a few hours. I would buy this again and recommend it to my family looking for one.

Not easy to use, doesn’t pick up cat litter and hair, won’t connect to Wi-Fi, and dreadful customer service will sum up this review. I loved this vacuum the 1st week I owned it. We share our home with 4 cats so there’s some hair to be dealt with. I was excited about something to keep up with the fur in between my being able to run the “real” vacuum. Week 1 it appeared to do a good job. After that is when the major issue started. The fatal flaw is that hair not only get caught in the brush roller but it also gets caught up in the side of the roller where it attaches. This causes the vacuum to become inoperable until you do something about it. You end up spending a good 10-15 minutes with tweezers and scissors trying to perform minor surgery and remove the wad of hair to free up the roller. (In this amount of time I could have already done 1 room of my house). That’s problem #1. The other major problem is the absolutely horrible customer service they provide. The manual that comes with this is a joke. It basically tells you how to set it on the floor and turn it on which is self explanatory and could be done by my dumbest cat. There is zero information about connecting to Wi-Fi or this type of troubleshooting. When trying to use the app to pair nothing happens. I have tried 8 times. I have used the recommended 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and even tried 5GHz. NOTHING!!! My phone is updated to the latest software version so there should be no reason for this malfunction. I called customer service and read every number off the bottom of the vacuum plus gave a ton more info to a man who said he was transferring me to a service agent who could fix the problem and I would not have to repeat the info I had just provided. I waited on hold for 15 min, (after 3 minutes the “hold music” went dead) and no one picked up. I was concerned my call was sent to someone in a black hole so I hung up and called back. I then had the displeasure of speaking to a lady who had the I.Q. of a carrot and the customer service skills of a honey badger!! She started asking for all of the numbers for the vacuum and I explained to her I’ve already provided this and was just trying to be transferred. She continued to tell me there was no one to transfer me to. She then tried to help and her advice was to do everything that I’ve already done 8 times all over again. (Because the 9th time is the charm???) When I explained to her again that I have already done this 8 times and I’m calling for a different suggestion and some troubleshooting she then told me to turn everything off and back on again. I was aggravated and told her this has to be done to restart the process and again I’ve done this 8 times. She then told me to restart the Wi-Fi. I explained to her everything else was working fine with the Wi-Fi and since I tried to pair it right after it was installed this week and it continued to do the same thing I know that’s not it. She then told me if I wasn’t willing to do what she was telling me she would have to escalate my case and someone would call me back in 24-48 hours. I asked to be transferred to someone else and she said “there is no one else, you have me now”. The app also has conflicting information about how to use the Wi-Fi feature. I have waisted hours trying to make this thing work. The time you put into trying to fix/figure out software issues and picking hair out you could have vacuumed your house. DONT BUY!!!

You can only program one floor. I have a sunken living room and I can’t add that room to the house. Otherwise it works well, although it would be nice if you could steer it with the app.

Pros: it picks up pet hair better than others *Its not too loud *The price is decent for having a tower Cons: *it gets clogged easily *It always (daily) gets stuck falling off stairs *It crashes into dog bowls a d doesnt care that its up in the air like a ramp, it will keep going and make a mess. *the battery is small and needs to charge often *no magnetic no go zone sensor *app is very limited and one of the worst apps out there as far as options go *no suction level customization *maps are inaccurate and dont seem to adjust over time *dust bin is tiny

I think it does a great job picking up dust and dirt, and I like the mapping system so I can do specific rooms, areas, etc. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a one-stop-shop for deep cleaning. Often in tight corners I’ll find crumbs and dust after running. And the mapping took a while to set up, and still misses a few spots when I run in certain areas. Still need a regular vaccum or duster for tighter corners
