> 3 dayHaving to use two canes it is difficult to use a regular vacuum. Now I just tell Hazel to do it for me. She does a good job. I havent tried her with Alexa yet but will soon. I highly recommend the Shark AI based on value.

Greater than one weekI love that it empties itself out. It maps out the area and cleans anything it can get under. This has a hepa filter which is also a bonus. I have a service dog that does not shed and wears boots... she has a friend that always sheds. This shark picks up all the sand and fur that her friend drags in with her. This dont replace vacuums (get a mop and vac combo) but it is great for getting under the bed!

Greater than one weekWe first purchased a Shark AV911S Robot Vacuum from Amazon. We named it Bob. It was just OK. It did a fine job of actually cleaning, but then, after less than 6 weeks, it started throwing notices that saying that the charging power source was incompatible with the charging station (we live in the US and have standad 120V power in the house). And multiple times it failed to return to the station for recharging, and just petered out where it lay. There was no room mapping feature, and I likened it to a blind man just feeling his way around bumping into things. If it got into a corner, sometimes it would take literally a minute or two just to get out of the corner. We renamed it (at the risk of being politically incorrect) Bob the Ret*rd). Interestingly, I was unable to write a review for the AV911S as Amazon aid there was too much review activity for that unit, and that only verified purchasers would be able to review. Hmmm....sounds fishy to me. So we finally gave up on it and returned it and purchased the Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum with XL HEPA and self emptying base - which is what we should have purchased in the first place. This robot DOES have room mapping, which is a great feature. It also has LIDAR, so it does not feel its way around just by bumping into walls and objects. It actively sees objects and avoids them without hitting them. We have only had this for a couple of weeks, but as I write this, I sent it to the master bedroom to clean, and voila, it went straight to the MB. So far so good, and I really like this robot (also named Bob. And this one, so far, remains just Bob).

> 3 dayI upgraded from my iRobot about a week ago. There wasnt really anything wrong, per se, with that device, but I wasnt happy with its cleaning. I got a puppy about 3 months ago, and the iRobot just didnt do a good job of sucking up the hair. Well, after a week of using the Shark AI robot vacuum, I am impressed. Daily!! It was super easy to set up. And the mapping function is amazing. Initially I was going to run it every other day, but seeing how much it picks up daily, I will be using it Monday-Friday!! The dust bin is supposed to be a 60 day capacity, but, with how much it does pick up, I have to empty it every other day!! The noise factor. Its much quieter than a standard vacuum!! The loudest part is when it empties the cup into the dust bin which only lasts for about 10-15 seconds. I love that I could set it to clean and empty every 30 minutes and resume where it left off. I also love that I could set it to recharge and resume when the battery is low. Which brings me to the battery. I get about 1hr of cleaning on a full charge. But, I do have it set to max cleaning, which will use more battery. But, since it will recharge and resume, I do not have to think about a thing!! The spot clean is great for those quick messes!! Using the map it created, I can send Sharkira (the name I chose for it) to that spot, she cleans and goes right back to the dock. I was able to set high traffic zones to send Sharkira to those areas to do Ultra cleaning if needed!! It also provides the option to do specific rooms if needed. All in all, this is a 5 star unit!!! Next upgrade, I will be adding the unit that also does mopping!! Hope this review helps your decision to purchase this Shark AI robot vacuum!!

> 3 dayThis little guy is so great. It was easy to set up, and made a map of our main floor that was surprisingly good after just one run. The battery life is pretty decent and the suction level must be good cause he hasnt missed anything yet! He looks like a lil trilobite swimming about your home. He makes a soft whirring sound as he goes about, but I find it a pleasant sound, and its nice to know if hes coming up behind you. Hes a bit loud when empties, but it only lasts for 4 seconds so whatever. Hes only gotten stuck once in the last 6 weeks of daily use, and that was on me for leaving out small Halloween decorations on the floor. I agonized over which brand to buy, but I have loved my upright Shark vacuums in the past, and for half the price of some other brands I figured it was worth a shot. No regrets! Minor issues: For the first week, he ran himself at 3 am instead of his scheduled 9 am. That was a bit of a shock when he emptied in the dead of the night. But after resetting him to factory settings, hes agreed to clean on schedule. He did get disconnected from the internet once, but I was able to just re add him again to the app and delete the old one and everything is fine again! Lastly, it doesnt really work great with Google home, as far as voice control goes. This seems to be a Google issue rather than the robot, so maybe theyll fix that in the future. Maybe. If you went Google home instead of Alexa like your friends, you probably know exactly what Im talking about. Overall, its absolutely worth the price and Ill never go without again!

> 3 dayI have two of these that I’ve been using for a few months now, and they work pretty well for the most part. The initial set up was easy and it created a pretty accurate map from the start. The app is also intuitive and easy to use. The robots themselves navigate well and rarely get stuck. The self emptying base is also pretty nice and I like that it doesnt need bags. They follow the set schedules quite well too. Some things could be better unfortunately. The actual suction power on the bots doesn’t seem to be enough, and the dust filters on the bots get clogged very fast even with it set to empty the dustbin every 30mins. If I don’t clean the filters every 2-3 runs the bots lose suction completely which isn’t ideal. The no-go zones don’t seem to work too well either. The bots only respect the no-go zones on some runs but not all. They also seem to disregard them when they are navigating to new areas. For example if I tell it to do a spot clean somewhere and there is a no-go zone in the way, they often just run straight through the no-go zone on the way to the designated spot clean area. It will then respect the no-go zone while cleaning, but on the way back to the base it will just run straight through it again. Over all the no-go zones are just very inconsistent, which makes it hard to keep them out of trouble spots. Overall I think they are decent, when they are on sale they are a pretty good deal. I just wish the no-go zones worked properly.

> 3 dayAs others have stated, I have a German shepherd and have a shark vac for pets but this is daily chore. Since my 2 uprights are bagless and no-tangle Brushroll I thought Id try this av2501ae after a LOT of research. I had a blind eufy that when it didnt get stuck really helped with pet hair but required daily cleaning and Brushroll detangling. I have used this for several cleans and no hair tangles and it says 60 days but at first it filled 1/4 on one clean. Using daily has brought it to 7 days to fill. Pros- gets up all the hair/dirt and I have not had to vacuum since, 10 days so far. Covers everything after it mapped the house. Ignored the 3 ft on either side and 5 ft in front and placed the unit under an end table next to the couch out of sight, mainly since my dog kept stepping on the old eufy. Has worked fine there and always finds it way home. It is doing its job as expected. Rarely bumps into anything but sometimes seems like its a little lost but always does what advertised. May be my crappy internet..App has been no problem. I like that I can send it to any room/rooms, or whole house. It has a little trouble getting over wood strip between hard wood and tile but keeps trying and gets over it and keeps going where it was supposed to go. Has not gotten stuck since no -go set properly. Cons- took 2 times to map correctly and took some trial and error to set no-go zones, but once I got it, it works perfectly. Should probably remap one more time. The roller seemed to get a little louder BUT ordered non-oem replacement filters and brush roll on amazon and that roller is cleaning as good as factory and much more quiet. Cant verify its durabilty but for the price, who cares. Its taller than my eufy so it will not go under my couch but as great as it cleans, Ill move the couch. Besides, running this daily, pet hair and dust under controll, have only moved the couch once in 10 days with a 10th of the usual dust and hair. Glad I upgraded to a lidar vacuum and I dont care that I cant watch it progress real-time as others have knocked it for. I can hear where it is and takes 20 min per room and does 1000sq ft in 45 min of hardwood and tile. Unless you are anal retentive it works advertised and CLEANS..

> 3 dayBought this for the mop and the ability to only mop one room. I use the vacuum part mostly but there are so many vacuums out there I don’t know why you’d be looking at this one if not for the mop. It does a good job of basic, wipe away the kid and dog mess from my white floors, kind of clean. It replaces the need for me to do a quick spray mop clean, which is exactly what I wanted and expected. There is a tougher clean option but I haven’t used that enough yet. Annoying things: the only way to cancel a clean in the middle of it is to send it to the dock, self-empty is pretty loud, you can’t schedule it for different cleans (particular rooms), only time and day.
