> 24 hourWe have a husky and she shed a lot after winter. Shark keeps the floors clean and picks up fur. Given the amount of fur, 60 day container has to be cleaned out every 3-4 days. But that is not a problem since vac keeps ahead of collecting the fur.

> 24 hourI have mixed feelings about this robot, who we named Hank (you are supposed to name him for the app). I find him to be quieter than a regular vacuum, and the suction in normal mode is very good. Our carpets and hardwood floors get very clean. However, he seems to suffer from some form of dementia. We have had him map our very small 1-story home twice, have labeled the rooms that we want cleaned. He starts out great. Does the living room, moves on to the bedroom, and begins the kitchen. So far so good. At around this point he goes back to the dock to empty himself. He then returns to where he was in the kitchen.....and then quits the kitchen and meanders into the living room and goes back over a section he has already done, wanders over by the front door and spends a minute or two going over that area again, goes in circles for a short time, and returns to do the kitchen again. About 10 minutes after emptying, he apparently remembers that there is a dining room. He does the dining room. He then returns to the living room for the third time and moves with a lack of pattern over areas he has already done twice. He may revisit the kitchen for a third time. Left alone, he will eventually return to the dock and be done, but we get tired of avoiding him (if we stand in front of him he apparently thinks his map now has a new wall, and he is clueless enough without adding that) and we just say ok good enough Hank, and instruct him via the app to go back to the dock and stop. This robot would likely work well if he were run while nobody was home so he can backtrack and circle and redo till his battery runs out (assuming he doesnt have some sort of error code at some point). I am not sure what the AI in his name refers to, but the I is presumably not for intelligence. I might suggest looking elsewhere.

> 24 hourI love this robot. It is less noisy than a regular vacuum except when it empties (which is a short amount of time). I couldn’t believe all the dirt it picked up the first time I used it.

> 24 hourWe have a cat and two German shepherds. This thing is a must have unless you enjoy vacuuming on a daily basis. I chose this over doing lots of research with just about every brand due to the fact that this has a bag less design. The description says 60 days without emptying the bin. That may be true for other people, but for me with our pets. I need to empty this thing between 1-2 weeks just with pet hair. If I had a model that required bags, I’d be paying the cost of this unit just in bags every year. This thing has already run through dog poop and urine. Which obviously should be avoided, but after some quick disassembly and cleaning it was back up in a few days going strong. Navigation is great and it cleans my whole first floor in about an hour. The only con for me is the app but there’s really nothing bad about it, it just could stand to have some more features. All in all this thing is great.

> 24 hourI had been contemplating upgrading my iRobot 670 for some time. It wasn’t really doing the job. I have 2 dogs, both heavy shedders. Working full-time and going to school full time I wanted something to help maintain a clean floor. This isn’t a replacement for a regular vacuum but it really comes close and does a great job. The mapping created during initial exploration is very accurate and the robot follows it each time. The floor upon which it roams is probably 90% low pile carpet (the bane of my existence until I can replace it with vinyl plank). Keep in mind, if there are any loose threads they will get caught. This is common for me because my husky and German shepherd so if I see one, I cut it to avoid that problem. For those who are terrible at cable management such as myself, it will normally navigate around or over cords though I would keep them clear. Small cables like mini USB or charging cables can get sucked up. It has three suction modes (eco, normal and max). For my purposes I always use Max and it’s not incredibly noisy. It is far quieter than my old Roomba. I can still watch tv comfortably and hear perfectly fine while its running. The self-emptying bin works great. Some complain it’s loud but it’s not that bad, and c’mon, it only takes about 10 seconds. The first couple times I ran it, I had to manually empty the dust cup on the robot because of dog hair. I think it was just finding more than I got with my regular vacuum. Now, running it once daily I haven’t had to do it. Oh, another great thing about this robot is the roller. Dog hair will not get caught in it !! With my old Roomba, I had to de-hair the roller after each use. Overall, this unit was significantly more than I ever wanted to pay, but so far it’s been worth it because of its efficiency and low maintenance. I’m really happy that I pulled the trigger.

> 24 hourI used to get irritated when my kids would come out to my office and get dirt and grass all over my floor. The Robo-Shark has brought peace back into my heart like only a shark can. haha I would buy again. Just an FYI, it is a maintenance cleaner. Youll still have to vacuum the corners and edges of the room manually. Overall though its a great lil vacuum.

> 24 hourI literally never review stuff, but I am so glad I bought this vacuum. I bought the Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum with XL HEPA Self-Empty Base. It mapped my bottom floor pretty quickly. I like that it stops to empty itself and then goes back to cleaning. The app was easy to use and I was able to name each room. I didn’t give it the 3ft space on the side of the dock and it still found it’s way back to the dock. It took about 1.5 hrs for first time cleaning of office, kitchen, living room, master bedroom. So far I’m pretty happy that I bought it.

> 24 hourI was so excited to finally have a self vacuum. I have two dogs. We ordered our first one. My husband programmed it and off it went. It would sit in one place and just spin. I know it has to map out your house, but I didnt think it had to do this every time we used it. It is also quite loud. After using it 4 or 5 times, we decided it was probably a defective product. We sent it back for an exchange. Went through the same process when we received the new one. It still seems to be confused. We have tile and wood flooring. I pick up anything on the floor, other than furniture. Surprisingly, the dogs could not care less. They just lay in their bed and watch. It will still spin in one place 4-5 times, on multiple occasions of cleaning. I dont know if this is normal. I do know it uses up a lot of battery time by doing this. Im still doing research. We may send it back and try a different brand. I hate having to do this because it does pick up fairly well. It just takes so long to clean a one story, tile and wood, (no rugs, carpet, or other objects in the way). With that being said, I wonder how long its life expectancy will be. We paid a lot for it. I would be pretty upset if it died in a year. I own a Shark Cordless, Bagless hand held. It came with two rechargeable batteries. I can vacuum the entire house without using all of one battery. Ive had that vacuum for 3 years. It has been used almost daily. I believe the motor may be getting ready to die. But, it has been a fabulous vacuum. Ill be looking for another one of those. If anyone has any input on the Shark Robot or another brand, please share. I really do want to love her, but I need to know she wont die in a year!

> 24 hourIm loving my little R2D2 splurge! I found it on Amazon for 300 off. Still pricey at 349 but it has been a godsend game changer for vacuuming up daily pet hair/litter. My toes dont curl anymore when I walk around in the house barefoot. I can program it when to run and it returns to base and empties itself when needed. Transitions from laminate to carpet and back. We are still in the honeymoon phase (1week) but so far so good. It also has been good because it forces me not to leave things like cords or socks lying on the floor. Had to rescue it once for a dry swifter sheet that fell on floor and when it couldnt get out of the laundry room due to a two inch drop but now I have that room as a no go zone unless I physically put it in there to clean. Things I would change: I would like it to show the GPS track it makes in real time on the map. If it would try a bit harder to push under my bed skirt to clean under the bed. One bed doesn’t have a skirt and it gets under fine, the other one has a skirt and it sees it as a wall and doesn’t go under. And it could be quieter.
