Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Samsung was the first to mass-market an easy to install SSD drive, and the free transfer software could not be easier to use (you need to purchase the transfer cable separately). Ive upgraded well over a dozen PCs to 850s and this is my first 860. It seems just as good, and the specs for the new model show that it should be faster on newer machines. The driver software integrates well with Windows, too. Also, comes with a long warranty.

My original hard drive began to fail and I wanted to replace it with a solid state. I chose this one for the overly great reviews added with the capacity (I originally had a 2 TB drive, so a 1TB drive was as low as I felt comfortable going on a laptop that stores a lot of photos - I do photography - and songs - I also record music.) This turned an already fast laptop into an incredibly fast laptop. I had always heard that SSDs were the way to go for speed, but I am absolutely floored with the results of this swapping of hard drives.

Like it, I put in my Dell Latitude E6430 and upgrade the RAM as well .... it feels like a new laptop.

really easy to get up and running, makes load times wayyyyyy better. wouldnt recommended if you have to play with big files just get m.2

Pretty easy to install with very little setup. Computer would not detect it at first but after messing with some settings it works great now.

Theres just nothing like an SSD for speed. My entertainment computer works so much better with this drive. Boot time is 15 sec.! This Samsung is a breeze to install; their program to copy your old hard drive to this one comes with the pkg. You do need to buy a USB to drive cable.

Its like having a new computer. it does not come with hardware to mount it in a 3.5 bay, so if you dont have a spare 2.5 bay in your machine you will need a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter.

Just installed this and run for two weeks, till now everything work well and fast as expected. Will check more in the future, though I was a little bit afraid that the speed might decrease in certain conditions, but didnt experience till now.
