Samsung EVOs are fast and reliable, and will load data almost instantly compared to spinning disc drives (HDD). Great purchase and worth it if you are running music editing or video editing/3D animation software, or just for faster gaming. Install Windows to an SSD like this for a computer boot time that takes a matter of seconds.

Recently bought a Thinkpad with a spinning hard disk. Its the first non-SSD laptop Ive had in several years and I was shocked how slow it was. I thought the computer was faulty, but replaced the drive and it was night and day. Happy customer.

Ive been using 860 EVOs for a while now and the speeds/quality seems to be consistent. I had no problems initializing, formatting, and migrating data to it as per usual. Ive probably bought 5 or 6 (various sizes/vendors) of these over the past few months and havent had a single problem

I have an Asus X441UVK Laptop and I had the problem that it was very slow, despite having 8 GB of RAM, i5 7gen and essential programs for the basic user. First, the installation of windows 10 lasted 5 minutes (incredible). Second, when I turn on the laptop, the process takes 5 seconds to start the OS. In summary, I never seen my laptop so faster and thanks at the ssd.

I bought this drive as part of a gaming PC I built for myself upon discovering that Steam had an Ubuntu client. The one thing that had kept me tethered to Windows 10 all this time was the ability to play Civilization V. Free at last from the endless bloat, HALF-HOUR boot times, the gambling on whether a system update would break everything, or bizarre BSODs demanding an immediate power cycle!

Used this to replace a 7200 rpm drive in laptop. Incredible performance! Went from nearly 2 minute boot time to 13 seconds! All apps/programs load much faster as well! Best upgrade I have ever done
