Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

This seems like a good choice for when you only have one M2 slot but want lots of EXTRA storage.

I used a 500GB as an external drive for my xbox one to backup my 2011 MacBook pro and transfer to a 1TB. These are great SSDs. One on my xbox works great and the one in my MacBook was an absolute game changer. This SSD plus 16gb ram brought life back to my old computer.

Put this into my Acer Nitro 5 laptop, switching out the 1TB HDD that was already in it. Got a SATA to USB-C connector to clone my system over and used the software provided by Samsung to do so. I was concerned, given previous reviews’ issues with the software, but as can be seen with the more recent reviews, Samsung has come far in their optimization of the SSDs and their supporting software. I’m several days into usage now of the SSD and I’ve encountered no problems so far. Cloning my system over was easy and fast with the USB-C connection instead of USB 3.0. Fantastic product for an outstanding price.

Inexpensive enough to get this instead of some brand that I have never heard of. So far so good.

I used Macrium Reflect 7 to clone my old HD and the Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD worked great without any problems. It has been functioning well in my Gateway SX2803.

the Samsung SSD is easy to use then the other brand SSD , this has the software to support the cloning the hard drive , from Samsung magician software for me the non computer person , highly recommended for non computer person .

I used this to copy and replace my old 1T hard drive onto and it runs fantastically. I’ve had no issues with this SSD.

It took me a while to install it just because I wanted it as my primary drive and I have to learn how to do that but also it does not come with the wire you need to install it to your pc for your information.
