Greater than one weekSamsung is probably the #1 leader in SSD and they know it! Prices will be higher than the rest of other SSDs, but you know you are getting top quality and durability. I think they are the only company giving out a 10 year warranty in the SSD market. By the way, this is my second Samsung SSD from them.

> 3 dayAnother Samsung SSD to my Workstation, since I changed to Samsung SSDs from OCZ ones Ive never been better with write and read speeds and reliability, this 860 EVO gets me to 560MB/s read and around 530MB/s write, it is no different from my older 850 EVOs, but its better since the V-NAND is improved to have a longer lifetime, I also have a 960 Pro nVME for the OS and Samsung disks are the best for sure.

> 3 dayI bought this drive as part of a gaming PC I built for myself upon discovering that Steam had an Ubuntu client. The one thing that had kept me tethered to Windows 10 all this time was the ability to play Civilization V. Free at last from the endless bloat, HALF-HOUR boot times, the gambling on whether a system update would break everything, or bizarre BSODs demanding an immediate power cycle!

> 3 dayI moved my system drive to the SSD and booted the first time. It came up so fast I was convinced there was something wrong. But when I started using it - Everything was totally functional.

Greater than one weekOur Dell laptop would take well over a minute after being turned on before we could do anything. After replacing the spinning HD with the SSD it now only takes several seconds. We needed the 500 GB capacity, a 256 GB drive as Dell originally offered with the laptop would have been too small.

> 3 dayI have a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro and this worked great. No more lag no more waiting on downloads or app crashing. Easy install would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade.

Greater than one weekVery easy to install for a novice computer user fixing their own laptop. Just follow the basic instructions and swap the old non-working hard drive for the new one. If your computer was previously loaded with Win 10 (or other), the computer should recognize it and install for you during the setup process. You DO NOT have to purchase another operating system if this is the case. You Tube is also an excellent resource when doing this process.
