Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Great drive if you are looking to purchase a solid state. Although many brands are cheaper, you cant beat the reliability of a Samsung, Ive had a 500gb for two or three years now running as my main drive and a few months ago picked up a 1 tb drive just as a secondary drive. Both working great with absolutely 0 issues.

Fast and efficient. Works perfectly in Win7/Linux dual-boot environment. Picked up over an hour of battery life in Win7 and nearly two hours in Linux. Only complaint is the price, but admittedly, you get what you pay for.

Very easy to install. Using Samsung software it us easy to migrate from old hard drive. Transfer took about an hour.

good product to self install

Super fast and I won’t ever not have an ssd in my computer again.

My 5 year old desktop was super slow. Hard drive was bogging down the computer, would take 5 mins to boot up and then the hard drive would operate at 100% quite often. Installed new SD drive and it is like a brand new - fast computer. I had contemplated dumping my computer but the hard drive did the trick. I was worried about install of the hard drive - that part was easy. The windows install was a bit tricky. Look up on google - I had some hung up on install but after a got a error message, looked that up and found a fix - not sure I can duplicate it but it worked - just be patient.

I put mine in my PS4 pro. Omg I love it!! Load times cut in half AT THE LEAST! Everything is snappier and faster. Installing, opening, closing, and using games applications. I just cant believe I didnt get it before for the cut on load times in game. Highly recommend it. Its an easy installation process too.

This little beauty may be a bit outdated by modern hardware standards, but Samsung clearly set the bar with the 860. Samsung also includes the Magician companion software free to download. Pair this SSD with a Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket 3.5 CSSD-BRKT2 ( www.amazon.com/dp/B016498CK0/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 ) and its a 5 minute installation.

I upgraded my standard ps4 with this 1tb ssd and it’s great. Slight difference in load speed for open world games. However, you have 800gb of actual space. Aside from that small annoyance, I love the product.
