    I had an ssd before that got destroyed with the pc it was in due to water damage. Id been wanting one again as waiting literally up to 10 minutes for windows to load was annoying.

    This is a superb SSD. Very fast. When transferring or cloning data, used Auslogics Partition Magic rather than the Samsung software. It does an excellent job of cloning the HHD to the SSD.

    Im not sure if it was the fault of the drive but I could not just replace my secondary drive on my to drive system with Windows 7 Professional. I had to replace the drive and then reload a fresh copy of Windows for it to recognize and work properly.

    4 year old gaming laptop (ROG) without an SSD. This drive gave my old (but still powerful) a huge boost in speed. Games load faster and run better. The cold start time is blazing fast! I took out both of my old drives and stuck this one in right out of the box. Plugged in Windows 10 (on USB) and installed Windows in 5 minutes. Brand New gaming machine again!

    This drive is unbelievable!! My old one was about 6 years and would take about 4 minutes to turn on. I would open folders with pictures and spend 10 seconds for a file to open and close. Now my laptop turns in less than 30 seconds and I can multi task and fly through folders... I highly recommend this Samsung SSD. I bought a second one for my wifes computer and the same results. Smooth, quick and painless to install and now my old one is my full backup .... Rick

    I put this in my ps4 pro and it was a big difference. The only hard thing was formatting it because sony website instructions are not that clear on the reinstall But eventually I figured it out and can complete with the big boys.
