Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Came as described, great and fast.

Im not an SSD snob if there is such a thing, but Ive had no problems with any of these Samsung SSDs that Ive bought. They all work fine. I dont do benchmark testing, so you wont get that info from me.

Made a huge difference in the speed of my laptop. It was unusable and then after replacing with this hard drive I could upgrade to windows 10 and still be faster than windows seven

Older Dell laptop upgrade with Windows 10 Pro installed. Downloaded the Samsung migration software and used an old Apricorn USB to SATA connecter I had laying around. Opened the migration software from my windows desktop and it immediately recognized the old drive inside the laptop and the new Samsung drive on the USB to SATA wire and just clicked migrate. Came back a couple hours later and it said finished, shut down your computer, and install the new drive in the old drives place. Did it and it booted up just fine with no problems :). Breathes new life into older laptop making it snappier :). This was so much easier to migrate/disk copy to than a Crucial SSD I had bought for my sons computer. Will buy another Samsung SSD for wifes laptop now that I know their migration software works easily for Windows 10 :).

I switch over from a Barracuda hard drive and is been amazing this thing boots up from zero super quick I would recommend this product to everyone

I pay a premium for my SSDs. Samsung is significantly more expensive. BUT you get fantastic free migration software. and have NEVER had a samsung SSD fail on me. Seems the SSDs monitor themselves for failing cells. then replace thos cells with spares.. when you first install this thing you can set how many spare there are (besides the extra that come with it they recommend 10%) If you want the SSD to last for decades you can probably set the spare cells for over 10%. Other than media storage (for which i use Western digital MY book type drives.. all my hard drives are SSDs now. To see teh difference between a moving part drive and an ssd.. is quite noticable just in booting windows. SSDs are FAST, use less electricity and have no moving parts. I love my Samsung SSDs.. (Cept they are pricy)

Bought this for my HP Pavillion DV7 I bought back in 2011. Start up times went from about 5 min to 20 seconds. Everything is a lot snappier and load times are insane. I use my laptop for youtube and audio recording software for my drums and guitar mostly. Feels like a brand new laptop! Totally worth it.
