Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I used it as the primary drive, and it cut my boot time down to 1/8 what it was with a Velociraptor drive. Then I replaced it with an M.2 NVMe drive, which cut the boot time yet again. Now Im using the 1TB 860 EVO as a data volume, where it works just as well.

I used it to improve my MacBook Pro 2010, which was getting too slow. It was extremely easy to change and all the process with files transfer was a single step (2-3 hours for my Mac). Great product and investment

Such an itty-bitty laptop ssd, but the difference in performance from an hdd is amazing. So I have a Dell Inspiron 13 5378 all-in-one laptop/tablet, and earlier I replaced the 8gb RAM with 1x16gb RAM. Yesterday I replaced my hdd with the 860 EVO from Samsung. All you really need is a usb to SATA cable, a cloning tool, and a teeny screwdriver to remove whatever screws that keep the laptop securely in place. Did a backup first on a flash/thumb drive before cloning. Swapped the hdd with the ssd, restarted the laptop and poof! I now have an upgrade that was worth pennies.

Great SSD drive, super easy to install. Ordered 3 and upgraded 2 MacBook Pro’s and one ASUS gaming laptop. All 3 we’re running very slow, almost 5 minutes boot times each.

Well, simply put it works. Yes, if you want to make your computer fast, just add one of these SSD HardDrives.

Purchased this drive for a backup drive to replace our old spinning hard drives. Havent had it long enough to know how long it will last, but if it like our previous Samsung drives we expect it to last for years without problems. No cables, drive cady, or mounting screws, or drive transfer software comes with the drive. It is a bare drive only.

Purchased for my sons computer. Had to watch a few videos to install (didnt want to make a mistake), but after getting comfortable. It was really easy, and he was up and running in no time, plus the drive is super fast!

Great SSD and snagged this at a good price. I also have a Sandisk SSD but this is noticeably faster when transferring photos and video files to.

Great product. Copied and installed two of them in under a hour. I do have the external HD docking station which made it super easy.
