Greater than one weekGreat for keeping the big tortoises warm for the winter while they are stuck in the basement. I have used them outdoors as well for years with zero problems.

> 3 dayNot very well built. The metal base is not secured very well to the ceramic. Had to send it back but will get another.

> 3 dayI ordered this and its still working. That was over a year ago. My tortoises love the heat that it provides. I would definitely recommend it.

> 3 dayThis thing puts out a crazy amount of heat. keeps my snakes 40 gallon terrarium at 80-85 even with the ambient temperature in the 50s.

> 3 dayBest way to heat a reptile enclosure. No light emitted and just plain heat to keep a natural night cycle for the animal. This one is great and does the job. Ill update the review when/if it dies out on me.

> 3 dayI ordered a dozen of these for use in our chicken coops, got tired of replacing conventional infrared heat lamp bulbs. They have all survived the winter and I am happy with them. Word of warning though, they do get HOT! much hotter than a standard bulb type heater so be sure that you use them in a propper ceramic base and keep them away from anything even remotely flamable.
