Repticare Infrared Ceramic Heat Emitter (150 watt)

Works great in our small chicken coop. The girls didnt like the red heat lamp, but this works great to keep them warm in the coldest days of winter.

Bought this as a gift for my son to help keep his birds warm in the winter months. He said he likes it, so Ill take his word for it and give it a good rating.

Not hot enough

We use this heat lamp to keep our African HedgeHog warm in the winter. I like this type because there is no light emitted, just heat. I nice smooth heat that will help keep her alive. We have been using it, on a temperature control switch, for a few months this season, and I expect it to last the entire winter.

These work great. Use on parrot cages to keep a nice warm spot during the winter. Birds love to get next to them when they sleep or just want a little extra warmth.

Great Product, as described

Not very well built. The metal base is not secured very well to the ceramic. Had to send it back but will get another.

Didnt want a bright light this time. I think my snake probably enjoys it better as well. It took a little more time dialing it on the heat...

It says it lasts up to 5 years, but I purchased mine on April 23,2021, and today, 11/17/2021 it is broken. The contact spot literally melted my dome contact to it. We heard a crack, click, and saw a spark and then my son let me know it wasnt working. I turned it off, unscrewed it and it literally looked like someone was doing welding to the top of it. I dont know if the bulb was bad or what, but this definitely did not last even a year. I have no choice at the moment but to buy another one, but I plan on looking for a better replacement of a heat source for our beardie.
