> 3 dayIt is okay. I am not sure I would not have been better off just getting a second bulb. Works as advertised though.

> 3 dayWhen I went to use the CHE, it was cracked at the base. Wasnt noticeable until I fully removed it from the packaging. I dont think this was a Zoo Med issue but a handling/shipping issue. Too late now for a return.

> 3 dayI wanted to use this on a red tail boa that I had in a 40 gallon breeder tank. I had it on for several minutes (probably about 30) and it would not heat the basking area of the tank sufficiently which is about 16 inches away from the lamp. I replaced it with what I had before and am currently using, a red heat lamp bulb. I gave this 2 stars instead of only one because it DID get hot, and I mean scorching hot, but it didnt radiate heat much past about 6 inches.

> 3 dayDidnt want a bright light this time. I think my snake probably enjoys it better as well. It took a little more time dialing it on the heat...

> 3 dayThese work great. Use on parrot cages to keep a nice warm spot during the winter. Birds love to get next to them when they sleep or just want a little extra warmth.
