I get a kick out of these ratings sometimes. Its a freaking power adapter for Petes sake! Its an exact replacement and it came quickly. I got a second power adapter because I use my computer in two locations and I got sick and tired of packing this thing in my computer bag. Universal adapters dont work. This is the last Dell computer I buy because I hate it when companies do that!

My dog ate my cord. Yup, just like my homework once upon a time lol. This one saved me from spending $70 for a universal cord at that one store. Looks just like the original and charges just fine so far.

Needed a replacement cord as old one frayed right where wires attach at laptop plug port. New once came on time, with 2 sizes port plug, and still able to use part that plugs to wall (2 separate pieces that plug together). New one did come packed with port plug portion already bent/turned right where original piece frayed, so maybe manufacturer/shipper should think about packing with that part straightened. But otherwise recommend this product.

Since I got my laptop, a year ago, I always had to take the battery out so she would shut down properly. Otherwise she would not boot up. The power cord that came with my laptop burned out, so I got this one. The end piece not only fits into the power port better then the original power supply, but I no longer have to take the battery out to properly shut down my computer. I can’t say that I understand as to why. I would not think that a bad power supply would cause a computer to not shut down correctly. But, changing out power supply is the only change I made.

Some chargers look alike, but this one is the exact one I needed right away. It took only a few days. I like that many choices are offered with serial numbers to compare the parts.

Did not like it took so long to get, otherwise a value for a new charger for my Dell Inspirion.

My wife uses this in her laptop and has it plugged in it seems almost 24 seven. We have gone through numerous chargers and what I will say is that the factory chargers have a much better long-term durability
