This is exactly as I expected - a true replacement for my original dell cord. My dog chewed the cord a little and it was not charging all the time. I have had bad luck with after market parts in the past and didnt have time to mess with the possibilities. I was surprised the price was not much more than after market prices so it made it well worth it. So glad to get my computer charged properly again.

I wish that the charger had a replaceable low voltage cord because my kitten loves to teeth on it, but never on the 110-volt cord! A re[laceable cord would add a small cost to the entire assemble but would solve an expensive problem for owners of teething pets!

Worked well for a few months and then died !

My computer was getting glitchy. By chance I noticed that the tiny LED light that indicates that the power supply is plugged in would flicker on and off, so I concluded that the cord or the power adapter was bad. This replacement worked perfectly. I dont know if the old power supply caused it, but my battery was also bad according to a scan I did of the computer. I replaced that at the same time. Now its like having a brand new computer, even though it is 4 years old.

Backup charger for my laptop. Great replacement when traveling.

The original charger finally quit on my Inspiron 15 5584. It works perfectly and I was able to charge my laptop from 8% back to 100%.

When I connect it to the laptop the charging button lights up and then it turns off again and after a while the screen displays that it is not a valid charger, but if I connect it and right after the light turns off, I turn it at the connection point with the laptop, it will light back up and charge normally. Weird stuff.

My charger was broken by my toddler, and this is the perfect replacement. It charges my laptop efficiently and quickly without getting hot. It does exactly what I needed it to do, and the price was fair!

Haven’t run into any issues with my new charger, my old one was splitting at where it plugs into the computer and needed a replacement. This one works really well.
