My port where you plug the power cord in was not working. Best Buy told me I would have to send it off to have fixed by Dell and it would cost several hundred bucks. I went to a home tech computer guy and he tried several cords..... we got online and ordered this cord and IT WORKED GREAT.

This is a replacement for the original that came with my Dell laptop some years ago. No problems so far. Does the job of charging my device without any hiccups. Satisfied with purchase.

The reviews made me nervous, but Im on a budget so I took a risk anyway. The charger I received works well. It looks right and does indeed charge my computer. However, every time the laptop is nudged, it stops working for a second or two, and my stomach lurches every time. Hopefully this charger continues to charge my laptop for a long time. Id say its a risk to buy, so weigh out your own pros and cons. It doesnt hurt to try, I guess.
