I bought this so I could have a second location with a charger for my Dell Inspiron (model 3593). I plugged it in, and it works perfectly. The charging light came on immediately, and everything works perfectly. So now I dont have to move the charger when I move the laptop to a different location.

Dell laptop started giving me an error stating that it was unable to verify the charger...but laptop still worked and occasionally the battery would charge...I tried replacing the charger with a few other non-Dell chargers and received the same alert - unable to verify charger. Bough this one and..viola!! Back in business. Laptop running like new.

Just what I needed for my Inspiron 15 5000 Lap Top

While this works, Im not sure it is genuine as my Dell keeps popping up messages saying either the battery is low or it cannot be recognized....
