I have purchased 2 of these leashes in the last 2 months, replacing standard leashes for our Akita and St. Bernard. These leashes have slightly padded handles (both) that feel wonderful in your hand while walking the dog. I honestly didnt think the slight padding would make a significant difference, but I was wrong. Double handles are important to me as the 2nd handle makes it easier and more comfortable to have my dog on short leash when were near traffic, crowded walkways, etc. Also, I really like the reflective stitching on the leash. That touch of reflective stitching is very nice at night and it is bright. I purchased the first leash about a month ago and after two walks with the dogs I knew I was going to order a second one. Probably the best leashes weve had over the last 14 years.

I bought this for my “always looking for a fight” cattle dog/staffy mix and wish I had thought of it long ago. The second, shorter handle is just what I needed to control him. I never thought a handle would make such a difference but it does. Additionally the leash is really well made. Strong material, well stitched and the grip is actually comfortable. I like it so much I bought another in blue for our second dog. And the extra bonus that the company donates every product sold to rescue pups is fantastic! Great product, great company!

Love the 2nd handle, makes it so easy to transition from trail to sidewalk. And no longer have to worry about a wrapped leash cutting off circulation in our hands as we walk our 115lb GSD. We also purchased a matching M&N harness, which we had to exchange for a minor reason. The replacement arrived before I returned the first.

This leash is a game changer for us. My dog is 60lbs and with this two handled leash it is much easier for my wife to keep my dog under control. She actually enjoys walking the dog now. The Max and Neo leash specifically is an excellent quality. Weve been using it several times a day for the last 5 months and it still looks new. The padded handles are just a cushy today as they were when we purchased this leash. There are no loose strings, the reflective portions are still in tact and working perfectly. Plus, it seems to repel dirt. I highly recommend this product.

I love this leash! Someone in my training class had a traffic handle on their leash and I knew I wanted one for my pup immediately. I am trying to teach him to heel and it is perfect for quick corrections. My little boy is only about 15 pounds so the leash is a little heavy for him but he doesnt see, to mind. Even though I purchased the leash entirely for the traffic handle, my favorite feature of this leash is the metal ring near the top - its a feature I never knew I needed and I dont think I could go back to a leash without it again. It is absolutely perfect for clipping on poop bags and I added a carabiner to hold various other things like a clicker for training sessions.

I love these leashes! the padded handles are so comfortable. I have bought 2 of these and will likely be buying a third. The first one was an adopt me leash for walking the shelter dogs where I volunteer. I recently bought a second one for my new rescue. I love the color and the stitching is reflective so another bonus since Im usually walking early in the morning. The fact that this company donates the same product to a shelter is a third bonus. Definitely a great product at a great price

I BOUGHT THIS LEASH TO WALK MY NEIGHBORS DOG (HALF PITBUL). THE LEASH IS HEAVY DUTY AND PERFECT FOR WALKING RIGBY. SHE DOES HAVE A BAD HABIT THOUGH, I HAVE YET TO BREAK HER OF, CHEWING HER LEASH WHEN SHE GETS EXCITED. IT TOOK HER ABOUT THREE AND A HALF MONTHS TO CHEW THROUGH HER LEASH. I CONTACTED MAX AND NEO AND RECEIVED A NEW LEASH AT NO CHARGE TO ME, ABOUT TWO DAYS AFTER I CONTACTED THEM. This has been my favorite leash for my 4 year old Basset/Beagle mix. The first one we bought a year ago, and its still holding strong despite her best efforts to chew it to pieces. It has since gotten pretty dirty from daily use, so I decided to buy a new one for when I want a clean leash, so I bought 2 more of this brand. I LOVE that they donate a leash for every purchase, which is the reason I first bought my leash from them. I cant imagine using a leash without the extra handle now. She is not a puller but it gives me so much more control when were near traffic or meeting a new doggo during a walk. She is also a service dog, so having the extra handle keeps her closer to me when were in public.

Leash is very well-designed with extra handle loop to hold dog close and extra metal hook for bags. But metal hook is painted or some other finish. Dog likes to run in our driveway with leash dragging behind him and extra hook is already flaking after 2 days of use. This is extremely disappointing as I would have paid even more for quality materials in construction and chose the leash because one gets donated with each purchase.

I bought this in May 2016 and love the lower handle for short lead needs or when better control is needed. Recently our dog decided he wanted to taste it and took a chunk out of the leash. I contacted Max and Neo and within 5 days I had a new leash to replace the damaged one. Their customer service is exemplary. We have both the 6 and 8 leash. The 8 leash has a larger loop at the end which is preferred by my husband and I prefer the 6 leash. Both are very well made.
