I ordered this leash for my dog. The leash looks nice and is comfortable to hold. However, after 1 week, the leash tore near the bottom clip. I thought it was a defect and returned the item for a replacement of the same item. The second leash just tore in the same spot, 2 days outside of the return window. My dog is only 35 lbs, is not a puller or a chewer so I know its not our fault. After inspecting the tear, I can physically see the material separating itself. Im honestly quite sad about this because I love the way the leash looks and feels. But 2 leashes in a row that have torn at the same place within just a couple of weeks, that stinks, especially since I can longer return it. At the rate the tear is progressing, Id expect it to last another week, tops. :(

The concept is there, the leash seems a little light weight, which isnt a bad thing, but doesnt feel reassuring in your hand. The padded handles are nice, but the training handle is too close to our dogs, causing us to practically lift them as we walk, or the dog is stuck walking Syu a bad angle almost sideways. The extra training handle needs to be moved back about 4-7 to accommodate tall people. I feel like Im hanging my poor puppy using it. But the long handle doesnt seem to have the weight to it.

After using the first Max & Neo double handle leash, I bought a second one. The handles are padded and comfortable. The short handle makes it a lot easier to control my active 11-month-old Brittany while walking. I use the long handle when we go on runs. Very well made.

Weve had this leash for our GSD for 1.5 years and have used it a lot. It is sturdy and heavyweight. No concerns it will fail. The handles are comfortable with the cushioning. Theres a hsndy D ring for attaching a poop bag dispenser. What I especially like is the handle closer to the dog that is great for using when having the dog heeling or if you need to have the dog close or want better control.

I am always a little hesitant when making online purchases just because you can’t physically see/touch it, try it with your dog while in the store, but the amount of photos they provided was really great. Being able to see it in use and the color options and the distance between the two handles, was awesome. The photos, however, do not do it justice. This is probably the nicest leash I’ve ever purchased and it didn’t cost a fortune! I love the fact that this company donates the same thing you purchase to a local rescue as well. That is pure genius and shows their passion for what they do and whom they serve! I will definitely be buying more of your products!

Love this leash so much a bought a second one for my other dog who didnt really need another one. Second handle is great for control. It doesnt hurt my hands even when my 70 lb dog pulls.

In addition to my three giant breed dogs, I also foster so dog walks can be an adventure at times. My Newfoundland tends to be rather dog reactive, not in an aggressive way, but nonetheless pulls like crazy when she sees another dog which gets everybody riled up. In addition to training, Ive tried a number of different collars and leashes with minimal success...until now. Ive had this leash for a week and the second handle makes it impossible for her to pull the way she used to. I will be ordering a second one. In addition, the company offers a lifetime replacement warranty. The fact they donate leashes to local rescues is just a bonus.

I have a 10 month old lab/pit puppy. We’re working on leash manners but, in spite of my best efforts she has her moments of going bonkers (ie, a dog on the other side of the fence that she desperately wants to play with). This leash is durable and can stand up to her 60lbs of pure muscle. I love the double handle for training her to walk with me, and for added control when I need to better control her.
