Great leash for a 120lb Italian Mastiff. Padded handles are really nice on a sturdy leash. Short handle placed well for heeling.

We purchased this Max and Neo traffic leash around a year ago and have loved it. Its sturdy, reflective, and has helped us train our dog to walk closer to us. The company was recommended to us by a local rescue, who has benefited from Max and Neo in the past. Its an added bonus that Max and Neo gives back to communities. Our only concern is that the leash has stretched out on one side and is starting to fray. Our dog is a strong puller, even with a harness on. We hope that it will last about a year and a half total, with two walks a day.

I never thought Id be partial to a particular dog leash until I started using these. Theyre fantastic! They are durable, soft on the hands, and I absolutely love the double handle. Theyre perfect for when a pedestrian or another dog comes near and you want to pull your little buddy closer to you. I currently have a 6ft leash for parks and places where he can enjoy a wider berth, and I had a 4ft one for walking in more congested areas. Im about to purchase a replacement for the 4 footer that I lost because I miss it so much. Anyway, this is a wonderful leash. You wont feel like you are wasting money purchasing one of these.

This is the second leash of this kind, that Ive purchased. I love the second grip handle to keep my dog close in certain circumstances (i.e. approaching traffic - I live on a county road, passing other dogs or distractions). It allows much greater control, especially with my larger dog who tends to pull when he gets excited.

Best leash Ive ever purchased. The handles are comfortable, sturdy, and the traffic handle is the perfect length. In the past Ive just wound the leash around my arm, to the point of being uncomfortable when I needed more control for my dogs as puppies. Now I feel as if Im in total control of my dogs under any circumstance. Granted, my boys are now older and well trained, but I do love the security of knowing that the traffic handles are there if needed. The leashes are light weight, but seem very durable. Which is great for hiking with my two dogs. I cant wait to take long hikes in the woods with my boys and their new leashes. I also love the fact that through this purchase we have helped other rescue dogs. My dogs are rescue dogs too and I always like to support rescue groups whenever possible.

I had a leather leash that I loved until my dog ran into a lake with it, and it became hard and rough to hold onto. In deciding on a replacement, I chose to try this one based on the neoprene handles - as well as the secondary handle close to the clasp. I love it! I have two German Shepherds - and only one is properly loose leash trained so far. The untrained one is 80 pounds and stubborn, but both the strength and second handle on this leash make it easy to train him. I love that Max and Neo supports rescues, and all of their products Ive used so far are very high quality at an affordable price!

I can’t say enough good things about this leash! I was skeptical because I had read reviews about the clasp breaking, etc., but I’ve had zero issues! My pitbull is a strong puller, but this leash has stood up to the test. Living in a city the second walking handle has also been a life saver, making it easy to navigate through populated sidewalks and stores without killing my hand in the process. I love that the handles are slightly padded, and that the edges of the leash are reflective. Amazing quality!! Highly recommend for strong dogs.

Single layer so its not the most durable if your dog likes to chew on it. Mine likes to spin around and bite her own leash. One chomp and she went 3/4 the way through it on our first walk with this leash.
