Max and Neo Double Handle Traffic Dog Leash Reflective - We Donate a Leash to a Dog Rescue for Every Leash Sold (Black, 6 FT)

I am so incredibly pleased with the quality and comfort of this leash! Also I love having the traffic loop, it really does make a difference to have a extra spot to hold on to in a hurry. This leash is by far the most comfortable to walk a dog with that I have ever used and is holding up incredibly well considering I’ve Used it daily since the beginning of July, and my (now) 70lb golden retriever puppy loves to try and chew on it during our walks (still working on that training..) and it’s in great condition! Will certainly but it again once this leash wears out!

This was a replacement for the exact same leash. We turned our head and our 7 month old GSD got a hold of it, and it was not a match to her shark teeth. That being said, that was our fault. This is not indestructable, however when used properly as a leash, we love it. The double handle works well in training and the Hot pink is very snazzy for our girly girl.

I tried a couple other leashes with the second traffic handle. This one works for me, the others didnt. The quality is top notch. The second handle is at the right height for me to control my dog (at 61 the other ones were too low, even though my dog is pretty tall); and I can get my left hand on the second handle when I pull the primary handle tight, without having to wrap the leash around my hand. The reflective stitching is nice and bright. The padded handle loops are pretty nice, even though I was a bit skeptical. I do wish that the main handle loop was a touch bigger, as I have a bit of a hard time getting my big hands in and out quickly when Im wearing warm gloves. Obviously a lot of the ergonomics here are dependent on my reach, my height, and the size of my dog, but Im pleased with it.

This is a super comfortable leash for my dog Pride and me. This was our first leash with an additional handle, and we loved it. The handles themselves feel great in my hand (the under side of the handle is REALLY soft), and Pride didnt pull once when I held on to both handles. I will say that if you dont have long arms I can see how this leash could initially seem overwhelming with regard to the length and reaching the second handle. But Im telling you that this leash is worth it. Im mad that Im just learning about it (Pride will be 11). I could have gotten a warm and fuzzy about purchasing this leash a long time ago (they give a leash to a dog in need when you make a purchase)!

I bought these leashes to get better control of my 2 dogs when we go for a walk. The only problem for me is that the loop near the bottom is to close to the end of the leash. I’ve got dogs of different sizes and with my height (6’5”) I need that loop to be higher. I have to stand in an awkward position when I grab that loop on my smaller dog. They are quality leashes. One of the best things for me is that they donate a collar or leash to rescue groups for every one that purchased. I’ve got 2 rescued dogs.

I just received my order this morning and couldnt be more pleased with this leash. Its a perfect length and very well made. Recently my 15 pound Corgi bolted for another dog and snapped the Kong leash I was using. Its the second Kong leash she has broken in a month. I wrote to Kong and told them I have lost my trust in their retractable leashes. After breaking the second leash I order this leash from Max and Neo. Its strong and well made. Needless to say, I will continue to purchase all my leashes and dog collars from Max and Neo in the future.

This is my second one of these leashes. My dog chewed up the first one and its almost about to break. My suggestion is to take it off after walks and do not leave it anywhere where your dog can get it. I noticed from personal experience that dogs seem to like nylon material. It is quite sturdy and soft on hands at the same time. I have a large 95 lbs female German shepherd and although she does not pull me as much as she would pull my kids or my parents but when she sees other dogs, boy! She can pull really hard:) This leash was great until one day we left it on and my dog worked on it all day and made a tear in it.

Its a good leash, lightweight and really like the padding on the hand holds. Additionally, the ring for poop bag holders is able to be clipped to tether your pup if needed. What I dont love about the leash: its a bit too long for us (5 would have been perfect), and the short leash hold is a bit too short for us (1 more foot of length would be perfect). We have a 12 lb toy poodle, so the short leash is almost perfect for me, at 52, to use in one hand as we walk in the city to keep a shorter leash. Im considering altering the leash and sewing another hand-hold so we have more short-leash space and the leach itself gets shorter. Regardless, its a good leash and I might be extra particular (read: nutcase).

I have purchased 2 of these leashes in the last 2 months, replacing standard leashes for our Akita and St. Bernard. These leashes have slightly padded handles (both) that feel wonderful in your hand while walking the dog. I honestly didnt think the slight padding would make a significant difference, but I was wrong. Double handles are important to me as the 2nd handle makes it easier and more comfortable to have my dog on short leash when were near traffic, crowded walkways, etc. Also, I really like the reflective stitching on the leash. That touch of reflective stitching is very nice at night and it is bright. I purchased the first leash about a month ago and after two walks with the dogs I knew I was going to order a second one. Probably the best leashes weve had over the last 14 years.

The extra, lower handle on this leash is SO helpful with dogs who pull. It gives more control and I feel like I have a better hold on my pup. It quickly became my favorite leash and I will never use a different one again!
