This is a GREAT leash. The handles, both of them, have a neoprene cushioning inside the handle making it very, very comfortable to hold, even for a dog that pulls a bit. Also love the double handle; when I need put keep my dog closer to me I use this handle instead of wrapping the leash uncomfortably around my hand. I give this produce a huge thumbs up. Bonus is that Max and Neo donate a leash or collar to a shelter for every leash or collar purchased. Having just adopted my dog from a shelter, I know how much they need these items, so this is an awesome bonus to my purchase! Great company! Kudos to Max and Neo!!

I needed a lightweight leash for my Chihuhua mix that was shorter, and this one was the perfect length and weight. I love the lower loop for more control when I need to hold her close to me or need to redirect her. My daughter is young, so the lower loop makes it so much easier for her to walk furry baby as well.

Ive had dogs for years and Ive used all kinds of leads. This one is a winner. It is extremely well made and comfortable. I need lots of control for my rescue dog who is reactive when she sees another dog and when she goes to the vet. Because this lead has a built in traffic lead, I am able not only to control her when she fires off but also, I can work on training her to be calmer in reactive situations. She is very strong (60 lbs) and Im in my 70s which makes for a potential disaster. I dont use the lead on my wrist but rather slipped over my thumb and gripped in my fist -if youve never done this, try it- which gives me more control and decreases the chance of her getting away from me or from me injuring my wrist. She walks well on a lead until she doesnt and its the element of surprise that can cause major trouble. The inside of the loop on the lead is soft and comfortable which is great if Im caught by surprise. I tighten my grip without hurting my hand and I can grab the traffic loop in seconds, again without hurting me or the dog. Im a very happy customer!

After using the first Max & Neo double handle leash, I bought a second one. The handles are padded and comfortable. The short handle makes it a lot easier to control my active 11-month-old Brittany while walking. I use the long handle when we go on runs. Very well made.

This leash is excellent and I appreciate that the seller donates to rescues. This leash is well made, comfortable to use, made of quality materials and I think it will be very durable. It has a couple of extra features that I really like, the O Ring at top of the leash for the poop bag holder and the double hand loops. Both of these features will come in handy when we walk in the park. Having used this leash for a couple of weeks, I ordered another for my other dog. I would definitely purchase this leash again. This is so well made I think Ill only have to purchase another if I need an extra one or misplace one.

This was a replacement for the exact same leash. We turned our head and our 7 month old GSD got a hold of it, and it was not a match to her shark teeth. That being said, that was our fault. This is not indestructable, however when used properly as a leash, we love it. The double handle works well in training and the Hot pink is very snazzy for our girly girl.

I don’t usually leave reviews for products I buy on Amazon but this leash is so incredible, I had to. If you have a dog who pulls a lot, this is the leash for you. After having it for just one week, my pit bull is pulling less and spending most of our walks right next to me. It really works. Plus, the soft neoprene inside the handles prevents leash burn I’ve received from other leashes. And most importantly, they donate a leash to a shelter every time someone buys one. I highly recommend this product for all dogs!

I got this for my husky who loves to pull on his leash. I partnered it up with a nice harness and now walks are a little less hectic. Having a handle closer to him makes things so much easier when he isnt listening, or trying to jump. The leash is also reflective which is great if you go for walks at night. The clasp and leash are great quality, I dont worry about them breaking or being chewed through. I wouldnt hesitate to buy this if we get another dog or recommend to someone who needs a thick easy to hold leash. The handles are also padded - which is great if you have a dog that likes to pull.

I like this leash for training my rescue dog to walk more calmly around kids and cars. It’s a little heavier than I expected. I love that Max and Neo gives back and that is why I chose this leash over others
