Greater than one weekThis leash is pretty thick but soft and does not cause any discomfort to your hand if your dog does pull. Have not had it very long but seems like it will hold up well. Overall happy and would recommend.

> 3 dayAfter using the first Max & Neo double handle leash, I bought a second one. The handles are padded and comfortable. The short handle makes it a lot easier to control my active 11-month-old Brittany while walking. I use the long handle when we go on runs. Very well made.

> 3 dayI bought this item back in July of 2017 and have used it 2-3 times everyday. It is JUST NOW tearing a bit and its not the companys fault. A knot had formed recently and I couldnt break it free so I left it. That caused it to tear slowly by the rough pulling and dragging on the ground. I love this item and it is made with such great material!! Buying a new one now that this one is going bad after 2 years. Will be buying from this company for now on!!

> 3 dayI have a very strong Coonhound and this leash helps. I love the double handle, however it is not the right length if using the gentle walker harness. It’s really well made and high quality. The reflection is great and actually works. My dog has chewed it a bit and it is holding strong!

> 3 dayOne of the biggest mistakes as a first time dog owner was buying a retractable leash! After watching videos from certified dog trainers that every dog owner should have a 4ft leash so you train your pup with. I did some research and bought this leash and it’s so much better than the retractable leash that my fiancé bought for our puppy. Our puppy walks side by side with us with so much ease and it helps with the knowledge of dog trainers that it’s only way to train your pup or full grown dog! I’m definitely buying the 6ft one for more training techniques for our puppy!

> 3 dayBeautifully made, very strong/sturdy leash. As with several other reviewers...the 2 biggest issues I have are the placement of the 2nd handle and the leash being a bit stiff. My dog is reactive so while walking her, Im always on the lookout for potential problems. I do have to keep her relatively close to me, so the stiffness of the leash makes it difficult to wrap the leash around my hand. Im 54 so the 2nd handle is a bit too low to grab quickly when I need to, I actually have to look at the leash to grab it with my hand. Its not intuitive (if that makes sense). I applaud this company for their charitable efforts of donating a leash for every one they sell! I would definitely buy from them again.

06-11-2024This double handle leash is great. IT is well made, and the extra handle is well placed to help control the dog. Some double handles are placed too close to the clip. This one is far enough away from the clip to be ideal. The leash is well made and strong. I found the 6 ft leash to be too long for me, with a big German Shepherd -- the 4 ft leash was perfect. I use the 10 inch traffic leash on her halter, and then attach this double handle leash to her martingale collar -- and then I have all the control I need with a 75 pound dog!

> 3 dayThese leashes have lasted well over 1000 miles! They are so comfortable that I swap mine in whenever I’m watching over somebody else’s dog. I like the 4 ft leash when running one dog or walking two and I use the 6 ft for walking one dog. Some dogs have been strong pullers, but these hold strong. My border collie likes the cold and we do walks all winter; we’ll still walk 4 miles at a time when it is in the single digits (degF) and the leash is still comfortable.

> 3 dayI was looking for a Kong brand leash and could not find one like the one I had used previously. This leash looked similar and I am glad I purchased it. It is good quality.
