> 3 dayI had a high quality fan for several years that finally died on me, so I went replace it with one of equal or better quality. This of course happened during a heatwave and when I went to several stories they were completely sold out of fans. Although it took a few days, I purchased a fan on Amazon for a few dollars less than my old one. I found it easy to assembly and was surprised that it was noticeably quieter than my old fan. I dont have to turn-up the TV with the fan running even on high. As stated on the box, the fan moves 15% more air with having both the standard fan and the additional smaller fan blade. A few weeks later my son and his family moved to Phoenix. Shortly after, during a phone conversation, he happened to ask if I could recommend an upright fan. I did and he purchased three of them and just the other day he told me he was going to purchase a fourth one. -- With ease the fans remote control responds to the fan.

> 3 dayThis fan is fantastic! This was a replacement for my old fan which I had not realized there had been an advancement in fan technology- I was pleasantly surprised how quiet this one is compared to my old one!! It can get a bit loud on high but Ive only tested it at that level because its SUPER high! Ive havent gone above medium. Assembly was easy. The remote is very convenient and works well. I really do prefer the round base vs the X or cross base which is what my old fan was. Seems far more sturdy and less likely to trip on or have things catch on when walking past. My only complaint is the length of the extension/plug, it is far too short. Leaves little placement options or forced to attach an extension chord to place fan in an appropriate location which isnt visually appealing. For this I knocked off one star.

> 3 dayI love this fan, and Ive had a lot of them. This is the quietest and strongest fan Ive had. the different breeze settings dont thrill me, but they do work. Even in oscillation mode the only noise this fan makes is the sound of air moving, no mechanical noise at all. Assembly has to be figured out by reading through the operating instructions, but it is all there, just takes some common sense. The remote controls all the functions which is great as the buttons on the fan itself are somewhat obscured beneath the large blade assembly. I dont find the blue light buttons on the fan all that bothersome, they arent that bright. So after a few weeks, not a single complaint.

Greater than one weekThis fan is a little smaller than I expected at 15 but I stuck with it anyway due to the price. I like the remote control (small and convenient buttons) and I do like that the fan has the oscillation features I was looking for, but it would be better as a 5 speed fan. The low setting is too high/noisy for my taste as I use this for sleeping and it blows harder than I like on some nights and due to the smaller size blades, its making more noise than my previous fan. Id prefer a lower setting and larger blades so it moves more air but is quieter while doing so. As for the high setting, it didnt quite cut it as it was too close to the low setting for what I like. Id use it after a shower to try and cool off and would prefer a much higher speed on the top end. But I think the smaller size unit at 15 is partly to blame. I also didnt care for the oscillating function when it came to stops on either end. As it rotated, you can sometimes hear a click as it rotates to the other side and that just didnt work well some nights when I was trying to sleep. As it stands now (1 year, 10 months later) it is making a LARGE grinding noise and is done with oscillating (thats why Im here writing this review as I need to shop for a new fan). So its not a bad a fan for the price, especially if you arent going to use it at night in your bedroom to sleep (ceiling fan wasnt an option for me, I sleep hot while the wife sleeps cold, so I have this fan on my side of the bed). But for me, it just didnt get the job done, so Im back looking for a more durable fan with a remote control and five speeds and hopefully a better quality oscillating gear inside.

> 3 dayI would give a total of 5 stars were it not for the instructions. I returned the last one because part was missing. It was nowhere to be found. It might be a good idea to include in the directions that the extender pole is recessed down into the lower pole. I know it was not in the last fan that I returned because I turned the lower pole upside down and felt inside and did not find that extender pole. I am not real happy that the blades are plastic not metal but since they are working fine, I will accept it. Perhaps all fans have plastic blades now. I am EXREMELY happy that it is made of metal and the base is very heavy weight metal so I am very confident that it is not going to tip over. I have not tried all of the settings yet as my friends from down the block came and assembled it for me as I had 2nd COVID-19 shot on Saturday and had some reaction with tiredness and muscle pain from that then fell on Sunday so -- altough I suffered no injuries thank GOD -- I am feeling pretty drained and weak still so just couldnt bring myself to attempt to assemble it. It works very well. I havent tried all of the modes to see if was whisper quiet at some setting but it is no louder than any box fan I have used and, in some instances, even less noise. When I feel up to it, I will try out the breeze modes because I do not have a clue what they are for. I am amazed that about the range of the remote control. The fan is sitting in the kitchen a room away at far end and the remote still works.

> 3 dayBought this because of the reviews and did not want to spend a ton of $$$. This fan is GREAT!!!! it is quite, has lots of perks, timer, adjustable speed, neck, remote!!!! It is not to heavy but not to light, base is a GREAT size.. We use it to push the wood fire warmth though the house. What I did not expect was how tough it really is, We have a dog that has seizures and before I could get to the fan our 110 pound Rhodesian Ridge-back with the strength 10 when seizing hit it knocking it into the stove and on to the hard mantel, our focus was of course our dog not the fan. By the time we were able to gather ourselves the fan had been on the floor, the neck was in such a position I thought it was broke, it had been on and was no longer running. I said to myself, well the extra insurance wont replace THAT!!! My husband picked it up, unplugged it, got it looking normal, NOTHING was broke, he plugged it back in and off it went!!! WELL it happened AGAIN!!!! SAME!!! results and it has been 2 weeks and still running like a champ!!!! SO I would say we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fan!!!!

> 3 dayPROS: • Fairly quiet, yet provides powerful airflow, and well-built • Double bladed fan, bigger inner blades and smaller center blades to increase maximum airflow and cooling • Remote control to access settings, a great addition especially while in bed without having to get up and turn the fan on/off or adjust its settings • Automatic timer turns the fan off at a specified interval (1, 2, 4, or 8 hrs) to reduce energy costs • Solid base foundation, keeping the fan secured to ground • Oscillation is smooth and does not create creaky noises CONS: • No dedicated on/off button at the base controls, and must cycle through the 3 speed settings to turn off or via remote control • LED light at the base can be intrusive at night for those who like sleeping in a completely dark environment USEFUL INFO: • Plastic lock nut to secure the bigger and smaller blades is tighten via counter-clockwise, not the standard clockwise, to ensure it does not loosen over time when the blades are spinning counter-clockwise • When installing the 2 blades, be sure to inspect the inside center of the blades to ensure the slot lines up with the notch on the axle of the base

> 3 dayProduct arrived well packed (an understatement) and with all pieces (YEA). Only irritant was that black V plastic part instructions didnt indicate should just be snapped off. Spent a couple of minutes looking stupid at it before deciding it wasnt needed. More metal and fewer plastic parts than most. Sixteen inch base is probably the best compromise between stability and size for easier placement. It would probably take at least a 40 pound plus dog to do a header on it to knock it over. What is very good about the metal cage around the fan blades is its tight tolerances and all metal clips (another Yea since no screws) . Youd have to hit it with a hammer to loosen it once the clips are fastened. Someone said that blowing though a straw gave more airflow than this fan. Utter nonsense. After going through many fans (floor and otherwise) for over 40 years of purchases this fan pushes as much air (or more) for the amount of noise it generates than most manufacturers (unless you want a commercial type). The low fan setting pushes more air and generates less sound than previous Lasko & Vornado purchases. Im assuming part of this is the double blade design since the blades dont look all that different from previous purchases. You do have to cycle through fan speeds as with many other units but I dont find that an irritant as others might if it keeps costs down and merely involves pressing a button more than once. I wonder what people would say if they had to go back hand cranking an auto to start it even if the cost was half and you got 80 mpg. The unit stands tall enough to blow air over a 26 high mattress and bed. If youre on a bed or sitting in a chair the height of the fan is certainly adequate. I know opinions will vary on this, but the fan is about 36 from the foot of a queen size bed and IMO the airflow and sound on low is suitable for night sleeping. The remote has to be pointed directly at the unit to work from my usage, but I assume you know where the fan is when you want to use it. Its just another one of those hard facts of life, like knowing where all your remotes and house keys are when you need them (and gasp if they need batteries).
