> 24 hourI would give a total of 5 stars were it not for the instructions. I returned the last one because part was missing. It was nowhere to be found. It might be a good idea to include in the directions that the extender pole is recessed down into the lower pole. I know it was not in the last fan that I returned because I turned the lower pole upside down and felt inside and did not find that extender pole. I am not real happy that the blades are plastic not metal but since they are working fine, I will accept it. Perhaps all fans have plastic blades now. I am EXREMELY happy that it is made of metal and the base is very heavy weight metal so I am very confident that it is not going to tip over. I have not tried all of the settings yet as my friends from down the block came and assembled it for me as I had 2nd COVID-19 shot on Saturday and had some reaction with tiredness and muscle pain from that then fell on Sunday so -- altough I suffered no injuries thank GOD -- I am feeling pretty drained and weak still so just couldnt bring myself to attempt to assemble it. It works very well. I havent tried all of the modes to see if was whisper quiet at some setting but it is no louder than any box fan I have used and, in some instances, even less noise. When I feel up to it, I will try out the breeze modes because I do not have a clue what they are for. I am amazed that about the range of the remote control. The fan is sitting in the kitchen a room away at far end and the remote still works.

> 24 hourHeads up for those who get annoyed by beeps and lights: this has a front panel that lights up when its on (frustrating to some sleepers) and beeps with every press of a button using either the panel or remote. Slightly complicated assembly but not really hard if you pay attention to the directions. Unusual fan speed options, so theres a bit of a learning curve there. Has variable speed settings, and I dont just mean low, medium & high but you can choose a setting that will constantly vary the speed between high and low to mimic a natural breeze. An interesting feature. Height of the stand is adjustable by about 6 inches. 4 feet tall at highest setting, about 3 1/2 at lowest. Some might have a specific use where theyd appreciate that option but to me it seems a bit gimmicky considering how little you can adjust it.

> 24 hourAbout the airflow, you will notice the difference and appreciate it, has quiet air sounds. Its rather heavy. kids under 10 years old, and elderly people over 70 years old, may have trouble moving the fan. It would have to be a very large breed dog to knock this over. Lights up! very pretty blue lights on the fan, and the remote is a Plus. Fan remotes are just as important as tv remotes in some homes.

> 24 hourI really like my new fan. Im not good at assembling things, but by carefully following the instructions I was able to get it together. The one little problem came when I couldnt find the remote. I had kept all the packaging, so I wasnt too worried about finding it. The problem was the small folded cardboard package that was clearly marked as containing the smaller fan blade. I had cut the tape and slipped the blade out without realizing that the remote was in there, too. The remote comes without batteries and weighs next to nothing. Fortunately, I hadnt thrown it away. The fan is quiet and moves air adequately. Id prefer not to have the blue LED display on all the time, but since the fan is in my living room its not a big issue. There is a soft beep when you change settings. Theres one other thing that I dont hate, but I do think is odd. The fan is white. White base, white blades, even a white remote, but the plastic screw on piece that holds the blades in place is red. All in all Im happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourWas looking for bedside fan that had lower wattage than Lasko box fan. Originally started with Genesis box fan. Not sure why it seemed so loud, considering I’ve often used Lasko box fan, but it did. Also, box fans are tricky without a holder/stand. I don’t know why they don’t still sell those stands like my grandmother used to have so that fan sits up high and position is adjustable. So….. as my bed isn’t high, this is good height, and has some adjustability. Not a huge amount of air, but enough for my needs. Very quiet. (From someone who actually likes a little air noise). I’m in an old apt bldg with no thermostat that’s always hot even though I no longer even have a radiator, and a/c doesn’t work so great when temp drops overnight, so this takes up some slack. Oh, to be back in a home with a thermostat. I also like having a remote….. though I’m out of available slots in my remote caddy. However, the assembly? Ugh. Think someone else also mentioned that if you need to return it, you may never get it back in that box. The assembly directions are vague at best, and the motor and base are quite heavy - at least for someone with some health issues like me. My hands are still sore and achy. You’re on your own figuring out how to attach the upper to the stand. So you’d better be good at this stuff already or borrow a crystal ball. Directions won’t help you much. Wish white was same price as black. Don’t need anything absorbing more heat.

> 24 hourQuiet, reliable and well-built. The base is surprisingly heavy, which is a nice touch (no chance of tipping over). I bought this to replace an older Honeywell of pretty similar make and feature set that Id been using pretty much every night since 06. That motor finally called it a day, so not a bad run. This model is noticeably quieter on the lowest setting, if that matters to you. It also has two blue led lights on the front display, although I havent noticed these illuminating the room that appreciably (about as much as a small clock radio would, Id say). Fully extended, it stands 47 inches. It has a remote, but can be operated at the base as well. Has tilt and oscillate, though I use neither. Has sleep timers of 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours. It has three speed settings, and three flow modes (variable, breeze, and constant). On low, which is what I tend to use, it moves a considerable amount of air for its size. The grill is a lightweight, coated (painted) metal, as is the pole (polished aluminum), fan shaft and motor. Everything else is plastic. The plug has a built in safety fuse. I would be surprised if this one didnt last at least as long as my previous Honeywell fan did. Hope this review was useful.

> 24 hourThis fan is a little smaller than I expected at 15 but I stuck with it anyway due to the price. I like the remote control (small and convenient buttons) and I do like that the fan has the oscillation features I was looking for, but it would be better as a 5 speed fan. The low setting is too high/noisy for my taste as I use this for sleeping and it blows harder than I like on some nights and due to the smaller size blades, its making more noise than my previous fan. Id prefer a lower setting and larger blades so it moves more air but is quieter while doing so. As for the high setting, it didnt quite cut it as it was too close to the low setting for what I like. Id use it after a shower to try and cool off and would prefer a much higher speed on the top end. But I think the smaller size unit at 15 is partly to blame. I also didnt care for the oscillating function when it came to stops on either end. As it rotated, you can sometimes hear a click as it rotates to the other side and that just didnt work well some nights when I was trying to sleep. As it stands now (1 year, 10 months later) it is making a LARGE grinding noise and is done with oscillating (thats why Im here writing this review as I need to shop for a new fan). So its not a bad a fan for the price, especially if you arent going to use it at night in your bedroom to sleep (ceiling fan wasnt an option for me, I sleep hot while the wife sleeps cold, so I have this fan on my side of the bed). But for me, it just didnt get the job done, so Im back looking for a more durable fan with a remote control and five speeds and hopefully a better quality oscillating gear inside.

> 24 hourThis fan is easy to assemble. It took me ~10 minutes. The cap on the fan shaft had to be turned clockwise to remove it. The fan has 3 speeds and 3 types of air circulation (constant, variable quiet for sleeping, and variable strong). I measure the noise at 6 feet with a decibel meter. At the lowest constant speed, noise is ~44db. At the highest constant speed, it is ~58db, definitely noisy. Using variable quiet speeds for sleeping, noise fluctuates between 33db and 51db. Frankly, I do not like the variable cycling noise generated by this variable cycle at all. It stays at 33db for no more than a few seconds. I also have the Honeywell Quietset Pedestal fan and that one is much quieter. At the slowest speed, the noise is 32db. The next speed #2 level brings 35db. The next speed #3 is 38db. Speed #4 is 41db. Speed #5 is 45db. All measurements are looking straight at the fans. When the fan oscillates, noise will vary since when the electric motor is sideways to the microphone, noise will be 1-2db higher. In terms of airflow strength, the double fan is stronger, but for sleeping, I prefer the Quietset fan. Its slowest and quietest speed is good enough.

> 24 hourVery few products are beyond my expectations but this fan is. I had it assembled in less than an hour--not bad for this 83 yr. old granny. Its very quiet. The best thing about this fan is it feels like a breeze not a wind. I was also surprised it reached the far side of the room, about 18 away. Id give it 10 stars if it were possible.
