It says its a WD19TB, which has the audio jack, but they are actually WD19TBS, which do not have the audio jack. The picture shows the dock with the audio jack and should be updated. Otherwise in good order.

Very misleading. It was not new very clearly used. I expect to not necessarily get the best product when receiving it at a lower price but this was terrible. It was in worse shape then the refurbished one I bough and returned. Don’t waste your time.

I bought one of these for my wifes home office, and the docking station just died and quit working after about a year of use. I got the same model for my home office, and am waiting to see if it does the same for me after some short amount of time. We use the same model at work, and they all seem to perform well there; however, Im still unsure of how well they stand up under normal office environment abuse. Ill report back if anything noteworthy occurs with them...

Use this to hook up my Dell XPS to my monitor. Works great, it just gets louder than I thought for normal usage.

Other aftermarket units failed. As per Dells tech support recommendation, I purchased this. (Im running external monitor and ethernet plus various USB connections. The Dell 7300 Latitude only has USB C so you must have some kind of dock.) While it works -- except for USB A to C audio cable which I have to plug directly into the laptop -- its fine. But the thing weighs more than the Laptop! And the cables are large and difficult to dress them to tidy up the mess of wires. Dell needs to work on design...

I got this dock to replace my WD19... the TB version allows you to run triple monitors with the laptop closed... the USB3 version does not (Dual only, + laptop screen as far as I could figure). Given my triple monitor setup, my desk got pretty crowded so I ended up drilling some 2 holes into the desk, installing grommets, and routing cables. With all that, I wanted to get the dock off my desk top and under the desk. It had two mounting holes designed for the Dell mounting kit. Well, dontcha know, I cant spend $30 on a mounting kit when I can MacGyver my own for $15. Heres what I did: The mounting holes in the dock are M2.5. So you need a tiny diameter screw to mount it. 2 screws in fact. I got a 12 inch piece of aluminium bar from Home Depot and drilled 2 holes, 88mm apart for the two M2.5 screws. Then I overdrilled the holes to help recess the screws a little. On the ends of the bar, I drilled two larger holes that wood screws would fit through. I installed the bar to the dock (see pic), then screwed the whole assembly under my desk. I was pretty proud of myself, until I plugged the dock into the power adapter... It wouldnt turn on. I tried a different power adapter (180W, 130W) but no dice. Crap. I broke my dock... or did I? I took the whole assembly down and loosened the M2.5mm screws. When I plugged it back up, the fan started spinning. I remounted it loosely with wood screws, hooked up all my stuff, and it fired right up. Moral of the story: dont tighten the mounting screws too much. This things a little temperamental.

Currently using this for my work laptop so I dont have to constantly manage wires. Works. Running with dual monitors, some usb accessories, as well as speakers. Sometimes the second monitor does flicker randomly though.

The onboard ethernet adapter (Realtek USB GbE Family Controller) becomes effectively disabled at least 3/4 days out of each week. I have to go into the adapter settings and tweak the following attributes EACH time. - Adaptive Link Speed = Enabled - Energy-Efficient Ethernet = Disabled - Green Ethernet = Disabled - Speed & Duplex = 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex (auto-negotiation really should work here) Essentially, the settings revert back to defaults and this is the only fix. Rebooting does not resolve this. Simply clicking Enable does not resolve this. Note that Dell has published a similar issue (Article Number: 000132644) related to Flow Control. My issue is NOT related to this, because, as you can see above, I never have to tweak the Flow Control setting.

I had a hard time finding a dock that would be compatible for my macbook pro and my two monitors. This does require a workaround, by one of the monitors going into the USB-C on the back, but with an adapter, it all worked perfectly.
