> 3 dayJust heard about Walrus Oil from a fellow woodworker. Decided to give it a try. Refinished a cutting board. The end result was terrific. Brought out the deep rich tones of the wood. Extra plus is that it is FDA rate for food contact.

> 3 dayIve used this for live edge charcuterie boards I cut, finish & sell. After lots of sanding I wipe a few coats of this on. I allow it to soak in between coats & add until it doesnt soak in anymore. Its time consuming if you factor dry time. The bottle doesnt last long for raw boards. I also use when my personal charcuterie board gets dry after or between uses. I use this in combo with the walrus wax. It doesnt leave a shiny or greasy residue once it soaks. Otherwise I use a combo of food grade/safe mineral oil & local beeswax melted & wiped on which is cheaper when we work on a larger quantity of boards.

> 3 dayThe oil went on easy. A little waiting time and wow the wood looks great. I used it on all my cutting boards and wooden spoons. Doesn’t require to be re-coated too many times.

> 3 dayThis is a great product ~ worth the money. Very little goes a long way. I bought a very nice big OLD cutting board at a church sale. After using this oil, it looks brand new. I bet they wouldn’t sell it for 2 bucks now!

> 3 daySo everyone will do things different. Its all a matter of taste. I have used several products and I like this one the best. I feel I get the best results when I apply one coat and let dry over night. Then I hit the wood lightly with some 400 grit sandpaper, sanding by hand with the grain. Wipe clean. Apply a second light coat and dry over night. Then apply the Walrus Wood Wax and buff. Leaves an awesome finish.

> 3 dayI received an expensive, personalized, charcuterie board as a gift. The only problem, it wasnt conditioned and protected from use. I reviews many different products and found this one. I was nervous as I applied it and the results were AMAZING. It changed the whole board - made the wood colors POP to life!!!! I ended up putting 3 coats on the charcuterie board and then went and pulled out trivets (I put 2 coats on them). I let them rest about 30 minutes between coats, then let it sit for a day. No greasy feeling on the wood. After uses, I will continue to apply to the board (dont use the board that often). I LOVE this product and would recommend it.
