> 3 dayThis is a great product ~ worth the money. Very little goes a long way. I bought a very nice big OLD cutting board at a church sale. After using this oil, it looks brand new. I bet they wouldn’t sell it for 2 bucks now!

01-11-2024I used this for my butcher block counter tops. The wood soaked the oil right in and did not leave it greasy at all. Made my counter tops look new again!

> 3 dayI decided to take on the challenge of building a cutting board from scratch for my lovely wife. I watched many videos on how to properly seal and give longevity to the well manicured butcher block. A friend of mine suggested, “try walrus oil”. This sounded highly illegal and inhumane. In the southeastern region of the United States, this particular mammal is considered ultra rare, however, squirrels are plentiful. I hunted early in the morning and captured a dray of squirrels. I don’t believe in waste so I cleaned them and made biscuits and gravy from my great grandmothers recipe book. I rendered the fat to a fine oil. 12 squirrels provided enough to coat one board and feed my family of 2. Because I am a cutting board novice, I didn’t think it through and the blood soaked butcher block was resisting the squirrel oil. I resanded the boards and after noticing google had monitored my search history an add for this product appeared. I was shocked walrus oil was bottled and sold. I read the contents and this actually contains zero walrus material. Relieved, but feeling duped, I ordered a bottle. It went on with ease and gave the boards a perfect shine. Animal lovers like me, have no fear, this product is not what you think! It’s better!

> 3 dayI had an old cutting board that had never been treated after it was purchased. After 2 pretty heavy coats over 3 days the board was very sealed. Since those initial treatments Ive done one more light coat after many washings. Very satisfied!

> 3 dayThis is a great product. I use it on cutting boards and charcuterie boards like the one in this pic. I do wonder about the pricing. I have not tried very many other oils. Is it really a good value for the money? That’s the only thing I’m unsure of.

Greater than one weekI have custom handmade cutting boards and bread boards so oiling is not new to me. But I was looking for a faster drying oil than the one I was using and this oil not only dried in great time, but left my boards looking healthy, in new condition. Highly recommend.
