> 3 dayWatched a quick video online, this took perhaps 20 minutes total with my 13 year old son to remove the old units and install this product. Worked exactly as advertised. save your old bolts and washers to attach the new units because it did not come with new ones. 2005 Honda Accord. Great packaging, fast delivery, a fraction of the cost of the auto parts store or OEM.

> 3 dayThese replaced the OEM parts perfectly. After watching an online video the actual replacement took about 15 minutes. Removing the original parts has a slight trick that is very well explained online and once you know it is very easy. The installation itself was very simple. One note of caution, only use fingers/hand tools to reinstall the hood bolts as you can strip the threads on the hole if you dont put them in straight and use a power tool. So simple and easy that it really doesnt make sense to have a mechanic do it for you.

> 3 dayThese were reasonably priced, easy to install and worked initially, but DID NOT LAST. I installed these in the summer of 2021 on a 2007 Accord. It is less than 2 years later and the hood wont stay up -- they need to be replaced. Very disappointing as this isnt a high wear or consumable part which normally needs replacing. My guess is that these parts are engineered to last for a year or two and otherwise be as cheap as possible. That probably helps them sell more and make more money. Most buyers dont know or care. I may be old school but, when I fix things, I want them to stay fixed for the long term (or at least the normal useful life of a comparable OEM item). I have no one to blame but myself for buying these inexpensive items and thinking they might last. It was a false economy. Had I been smarter, I would have spent the money toward higher quality hood supports which wouldnt need replacement so soon. To replace these, Ill use OEM supports. They will surely cost more, but I dont want to risk having to replace these again. If you plan to keep your car, do yourself a favor and spend more to get hood supports that will last.

Greater than one weekWorks so good and so easy to install I forgot I did. My ‘07 accord needed new ones and these work fine. Does exactly what you need and holds the hood up.

> 3 daythis replaced the factory installed Hood supports on my wifes 2005 Honda Accord, and although the design is a little different then the original Honda shocks they bolted up perfectly, not only that these replacements are twice as powerful then the ones I replaced when they were new in 2005, now all I need to do is pop the inside hood latch and lightly hit the front hood catch and the hood goes up by its self.

> 3 dayIt literally only took me five minutes to install these hood struts! I called the dealership to get a pair and they wanted to charge me $55 for one hood strunt so I came on Amazon and found these for a steal!! $22 for a pair and plus they come with a year warranty you can’t beat that!! You basically use the flat head screwdriver’s to remove your old struts and to install the new ones you just insert the struts onto the strunt holders the balls! I bought these for my 2001 Honda Accord V6 EX-L

> 3 dayPackaged great, but no instructions. Had to remove both before the new ones would fit. 5-10 minute install. Hopefully they last as long as the original did.
