> 24 hourNo reviews on Honda 2008 Accord Coupe so here goes. Kind of worried the necessary ball bracket/bolt would not be in the order. It is not shown in the pictures. On these cars that old bracket has to be removed because it can not be separated from the strut. Long story short they came with the strut. Matter of fact they give you two to a strut so you end up with two extra! You will need a 12 mm open end wrench for the bracket on the fender and a 10mm socket for the bracket on the hood. 10mm open end wrench could be substituted. You will need some way of holding the hood open, a person, stick, or vice grips. Do one side at a time so you have a reference on the otherside. Took about 30 minutes and I took my time. Watch a YouTube video so you know how to do the ball bracket. The strut looks good and I didnt see any plastic parts. It works very well and does its job. Dont know how long it will last, we will see!

> 24 hourPackaged great, but no instructions. Had to remove both before the new ones would fit. 5-10 minute install. Hopefully they last as long as the original did.

> 24 hourThese gas-charged lift struts fit PERFECTLY on my 2006 Honda Accord, and are easy to install [easy to follow instructions]. The most difficult part of the installation was finding a 10mm wrench in my toolbox [if you dont have one you can probably borrow from your neighbor]. The struts work PERFECTLY too. If you have the struts replaced at your Honda dealer the cost will be A LOT more... A LOT!! This is kinda of a no-brainer. If your hood is sagging or doesnt stay open and your struts need replacing, this A-Premium product is for you and at a reasonable price. If you are worried about can I do it, the answer is YES, you definitely can do it while saving money.

> 24 hourthis replaced the factory installed Hood supports on my wifes 2005 Honda Accord, and although the design is a little different then the original Honda shocks they bolted up perfectly, not only that these replacements are twice as powerful then the ones I replaced when they were new in 2005, now all I need to do is pop the inside hood latch and lightly hit the front hood catch and the hood goes up by its self.

> 24 hourThese replaced the OEM parts perfectly. After watching an online video the actual replacement took about 15 minutes. Removing the original parts has a slight trick that is very well explained online and once you know it is very easy. The installation itself was very simple. One note of caution, only use fingers/hand tools to reinstall the hood bolts as you can strip the threads on the hole if you dont put them in straight and use a power tool. So simple and easy that it really doesnt make sense to have a mechanic do it for you.
