I took about 10 minutes to replace both hood struts. The hardest part was finding metric sockets - I havent repaired my own car since...well, a very long time. A single strut was strong enough to hold the hood up, but I installed both. Someone had complained that because the cylinder was at the opposite end from the OEM version it didnt have enough clearance and damaged the fender. On my 2003 Accord EX V6 it does not come near the fender/side molding.

The parts came, look just like OEM part, work just like a new car part should! PERFECT. Easy to install by yourself and both in less than 20 minutes if you have the tools. Just watch a youtube repair video for your cars hood hydrolic-struts. Price was great because Honda would have been much, much more.
