> 3 dayBought these for granddaughters car. She was using a ba bat to hold the hood open. The Honda design makes these simple to change. In less than 5 minutes they were changed out. She can now use the bat for Softball again. We will now just have to wait and see how long they last. The seller was prompt and delivered a quality product. I can recommend this item to purchase and this vendor.

> 3 dayI like the fact that my car’s hood is very “springy” when released from the latch.

> 3 dayYou need a flat head screw driver to pop the spring off the old ball joint, and (on my 2003 Accord) a 10mm socket for the hood end. The new ball joint just pops on. If you have been propping up the hood with a stick you might need a longer one for a solo install, you have to open the hood to the limit to align the bolt holes.

> 3 dayI slapped these bad boys on our 2006 Honda Accord in about 10 minutes! They seem to be decent quality (only time will tell) and the hood stays open like it should. There’s a little metal clip that holds the strut to the ball socket..... just pry it down (you’ll be able to see a slot on the new one and anyone with any common sense should be able to figure it out). After you slide the new strut on the ball, just slide the clip back to its rightful position to lock it in.

> 3 dayTook less than 15 minutes to install. The ones they replaced were dangerous to work under. Ive been using a piece of scrap wood to hold up the hood during maintenance but upon seeing the price of these, Im glad I picked them up. The hood stays up well and comes down with a fair bit of force. Excellent product thus far.

> 3 dayIt literally only took me five minutes to install these hood struts! I called the dealership to get a pair and they wanted to charge me $55 for one hood strunt so I came on Amazon and found these for a steal!! $22 for a pair and plus they come with a year warranty you can’t beat that!! You basically use the flat head screwdriver’s to remove your old struts and to install the new ones you just insert the struts onto the strunt holders the balls! I bought these for my 2001 Honda Accord V6 EX-L

> 3 dayThe parts came, look just like OEM part, work just like a new car part should! PERFECT. Easy to install by yourself and both in less than 20 minutes if you have the tools. Just watch a youtube repair video for your cars hood hydrolic-struts. Price was great because Honda would have been much, much more.

> 3 dayThis is good replacement for Honda Accord 2006 V6. It fits well, but it is not exact replacement as original. The original part is silver rod connect to car body, but it is reversed. However, it does not ruin functionality. It holds hood well and good tension.

> 3 daySimply popped the old ones off and put these on. It took all of five minutes. Got to finally get rid of the stick I was using to hold the hood open
