Greater than one weekThese were so easy to install myself. As a woman I thought the hood would be a little hard to hold up while installing. But I used a piece of wood to hold up the hood and used my tools and went to work!! I’m so proud of me!!! Everyone woman should have a socket set in their car, so if you do need help at least you have the right tools!!

> 3 dayBought these for granddaughters car. She was using a ba bat to hold the hood open. The Honda design makes these simple to change. In less than 5 minutes they were changed out. She can now use the bat for Softball again. We will now just have to wait and see how long they last. The seller was prompt and delivered a quality product. I can recommend this item to purchase and this vendor.

> 3 dayI slapped these bad boys on our 2006 Honda Accord in about 10 minutes! They seem to be decent quality (only time will tell) and the hood stays open like it should. There’s a little metal clip that holds the strut to the ball socket..... just pry it down (you’ll be able to see a slot on the new one and anyone with any common sense should be able to figure it out). After you slide the new strut on the ball, just slide the clip back to its rightful position to lock it in.

Greater than one weekInstalled pretty easily and works great. Now I can have my hood open without having to prop it up. Just a couple bolts on each one and the bottom pops right in.

> 3 dayThese install in minutes and make the hood stay up like new. As others have said, I should’ve done this a couple of years ago.

> 3 dayThe mounting holes line up OK, but the bracjet interferes with the hood a little. I somewhat expect this type of problem for the China products, so it is an OK value so far.

Greater than one weekTook less than 15 minutes to install. The ones they replaced were dangerous to work under. Ive been using a piece of scrap wood to hold up the hood during maintenance but upon seeing the price of these, Im glad I picked them up. The hood stays up well and comes down with a fair bit of force. Excellent product thus far.
