Watched YouTube videos. Both installed in less than 10 minutes. Need a 10 mm and a flat head screwdriver, a board or frien to hold the heavy hood up.

Packaged great, but no instructions. Had to remove both before the new ones would fit. 5-10 minute install. Hopefully they last as long as the original did.

Didnt really give the struts much use, maybe opened the hood a few times a year. One strut blew out after 10-12 months, making the other one pretty much useless.

The original bracket that attaches to the hood has a bump-out and a third hole in the middle. This third hole is to allow the hood to be put into service position by putting a single bolt through it and into a threaded hole closer towards the hinge of the hood. The bracket of this product is flat and has no middle hole. Not a big deal but this is not an exact replacement for the original strut. That being said, this seems like a good product. Good opening force and a soft open at its full extension. For a 2006 Accord EX V6.

Fit my 2003 Honda Accord coupe. It took a few minutes to install. Removing the old ones took longer. It held the trunk opened as expected. Bolt the unit onto the hood first before mounting to the engine end. Seems to be easier to do it in that sequence.
