Easy to install!

(OLD MODEL) I previously bought the old model of this years ago- HORRIBLE. Theres a reason for the bad reviews mixed in from the old version people bought. It was designed terribly with a light bottom and heavy top, this almost crushed my birds many times because it easily fell over! Overall a mess... This NEW model is GREAT now! Its design is much, much better and its safer for birds as well. It has a nicer updated design, super light weight, easier to put together, and its balanced really well. Glad the company took this safety issue seriously. Be aware for those who hated the old version, for some reason the old model is still on the front packaging, look at customer photos for the new look.

I love that the base is actually hefty so theres not much danger of knocking the lamp over. It was simple to assemble and its easy to adjust the neck however youd like. It puts out great light, and my bird has shown a noticeable improvement. Being able to actually see all of the colors her eyes are naturally capable of seeing is probably a huge mood booster! I place the lamp over the cage in such a way that she can choose to be directly beneath it or sit elsewhere, out from direct exposure. She makes obvious choices to sit beneath it- perches shed never visit before are now favorite basking spots.

For about $52 This is the updated greatest design and includes the Zoo Med UV B 5.0 light and Strong Sturdy stand Other sellers are selling old stock from the day One design of the Poor design Zoo Med light that fell apart so beware !

The product is loose and unscrews easily. It is not sturdy. I have to re-tighten it daily.

We were beyond excited to start providing UVA and UVB to our parakeets. Sadly, the anticipation climaxed with sadness when we opened our package to see a cracked bulb. After picking little white bulb fragments up, we had to order new bulbs before we can fully utilize our purchase. The value was not what we had expected because we originally ordered the lamp and bulb combination pack to avoid purchasing a separate light fixture and bulbs. Sadly, because the bulb was damaged, we were unable to enjoy they package deal and ended up paying for separate bulbs. Assembly of the Lamp was quick and easy requiring only one individual and 10 minutes of time.

My goffins cockatoo has been plucking for over a month. I thought Id give this a try instead of a stressful collar OMG!!! I set it up yesterday and Immediately she stopped plucking and started snoozing. Shes more relaxed, eating better and just happy. She seems content Well worth every cent Great buy!!! Thanks!!!!
