Zoo Med Labs Aviansun Deluxe Floor Lamp with Aviansun,Silver,3.4 x 11.5 x 22.5"

Ive always had the Avian lights for my birds but the cheaper ones that are not very stable and hard to adjust. This one is well constructed and easy to adjust, and puts out a great amount of light. Im glad I didnt cancel because I was going to do that because of a longer delivery (more than 2 days) but I got it in a very timely fashion. My conure loves it too.

The stand is flimsy and I wouldn’t buy it again. The threads are stripped and it falls apart.

We read that its theorized African Grays have night frights due to deficiencies from not enough sun/being indoors. Our gray started having issues after our previous bulb aged/got too dim. Ever since getting this lamp, she hasnt had ONE episode whatsoever! Super thrilled! She also will preen herself more, nap under it, and seems just generally more cheerful with this new lamp! So happy shes happy!

Great lamp...Definitely a better upgrade from the original Zoo Med lamp. This one is very steady and heavy so it doesn’t fall over.Also nice and bright.Parrot loves it

Like the new neck and power switch- much more streamlined and sleek than the older model. I have a large, tall flight cage, so I elected to mount the light on the body of the cage using pipe fittings instead of the weighted base: moving the cage/light unit is a breeze. Good strong light- keeps my conures happy and active

ordered this light with the bulb 2 days ago. quick delivery, but the bulb that came with it doesnt work. Fortunately, I also ordered 2 replacement bulbs after reading reviews that bulb didnt last long. So, new bulbs work fine, but pretty upset that after paying extra for the lamp with the bulb and the bulb doesnt work, it was a waste. Couldve saved money and just bought the lamp without a bulb. Disappointed about that.

Do NOT buy the lamp. Cheap piece of Made in China junk. Everything arrived broken which clearly didn’t take much effort to break. Flimsy junk. Back to square one:/

This is a great alternative to letting your birds get some UV rays if you can’t take them outside. My birds love it and even hang out below it when they are out of their cage. Great product!
