As soon as I plugged in my brand new lamp with its bulb, it shorted out. Now I have to return it (and I pay the shipping!) for a refund. :/ it may have been a fluke, but having to pay for my own refund irks me. I’m going to get my refund and buy a different lamp. Also, the lamp itself was wobbly, though it stood up on its own without falling.

I purchased this for my Mynah bird as its in a large cage in the house. She refused to go into a smaller cage so I could take her out to get some sun. After receiving the lamp, I assembled it quickly and put it over her cage. In two weeks time, the area around her eyes tuned yellow. I was so happy to see it happen! I am so glad I made this purchase! My bird appears more active and is talking even more than ever. I think shes feeling good!

This was very easy to assemble and our parrot seems to enjoy it.

My birds were terrified of it. Even after 10 days, they wouldn’t go near it, and were afraid to go in their cages until I removed it. So I returned it to Amazon. On the positive side, it is well made.

Our budgies really do love this light. As soon as you turn it on above their cage the singing hits high gear.

Puffy absolutely loves to bask under this light. She is a cocktail and her vet recommended this light after she laid 7 eggs within a few weeks. Since getting the light, she has not laid any more eggs as of yet. It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble.

I was surprised by the quality of this lamp. Very well made as easy to put together. I was worried about receiving the bulbs intact so I ordered extra just in case a bulb arrived blown. Not the case at all. I’ll keep my extra bulbs as extra supplies and I’ll update how long the bulbs it comes with last. My parrots love it and seem to try to sit right under it like they are basking in the sun. I’ve noticed a great change in my rescues personality, much friendlier and not as cranky.

Bought this lamp to help keep my birds healthy. Had read some reviews about difficulty putting this together. Went together easily, just keep an eye on the cord twist.
