I like the convenience but noticed that it the cell is a little haevy the it loses the balance. Also I think the hinges eventually will get lozer if you are not gentle to handle it.

The UVB bulb is longer than the fixture, so resting it on top of the mesh will not fit tight. The bulb actually lays on top of the mesh. Within 15 minutes of setup, one of my two RES is already basking so it must be working somewhat.

Small and does the job! Love the duality.

i just bought this last week and today i receive it and yes i am from out of USA and noticed here that its 120 V thats why when i receive it i spent 30$ to buy voltage converter from 220 to 110 v but sadly :( no luck i have checked evrything before i connected to the power but after finally i turned it on the heater bulb did not work at all and the UV bulb lighted for a seconds then it turned off with smoke :( really i dont know what the problem and by the way i tried my studio light which is 120V and it worked perfectly

The bulb holder is fair, but both the bulbs i got are not working. The uvb bulb worked for half hour and fused. The other not at all. I put my own bulbs in holders and they are okay. But its very hard to find a uvb bulb in my region and that is why I am so upset. I cannot even return as shipping back is too expensive. On top of that I am very disappointment that i had to pay much more than value of product in shipping cost, to get it rerouted to my present address.

I went to Petsmart and other places looking for this kit and found it to be priced at about $70. I was very happy to have found it here for this price! This is the only lighting kit I purchase for my turtles, and have done so multiple times (I have multiple turtle tanks.) As soon as its placed in the basking area, my turtles are basking. Ive had experiences with other lighting setups where its not that way at all. Extremely satisfied.
