By far one of the best investment i have made as far as lighting goes, not to mention the fixture itself is very nice looking

Works well, I have to keep bulbs available. Wish bulbs lasted longer.

I got it faster than anticipated which really helps during this stay at home order. The packing and items are brand new. Easy to assemble. And since it comes with the correct bulbs I know itll be safe for our turtle and his environment. The price is lower than other websites. My last lamp lasted 5 yrs until I dropped it in the water ooops. We used to have a metal aquarium cover and had no problems with the lamp touching directly. Now we made a basking area with egg crate. The heat is melting it slightly so I ordered a stand just to be safe.

This would have gotten 5 stars, except that the bulb is longer than the fixture, so you cant actually rest it directly on a metal mesh top. The rest of the kit is perfect, they include both kinds of bulbs that you will need for caring for a turtle. Just make sure you buy the mount for it.

The fixture is fine but the heat bulb is so weak I can rest my hand on it without getting burned. My turtle room is 78 degrees, a slate rock 6 under the light had a surface temp of 78 degrees. I removed entire unit and replaced with a 120v chicken warmer with reflector for a quarter of the cost. I cant recommend unless you have a small tank with enough room to fit this in the tank, not on top of it.

I thought I was getting the full sized product but the “mini” arrived, and I paid more for this one. Save your money!

Didn’t work just started using it and it’s messed up and broken

This fixture works great. Its made out of good material. The sockets are sturdy. Electric cord good and long and the switches are solid and made well. I have two of these fixtures and would recommend them.
