> 3 dayThe monitor was plug & play working immediately. An adjustable tilt on the monitor is easy to use. I adjust the monitor frequently between video streaming and regular alone computer use. Worked well with MacPro charging computer through the monitor and syncs great between 3 screens. Some other monitors do not play well with Apple products.

> 3 dayThis is a real clear and high quality monitor. I had to get a monitor because I’m now working from home. One of my friends recommended this monitor, I looked at reviews, and made the purchase. I’m glad I did. It’s clear, easy to adjust, and having the ports makes it an excellent choice if you have a MacBook with only the usb-c ports. It even charges my MacBook with the standard plug. Hands down a great purchase.

> 3 dayPROS -DP and HDMI inputs -New USB-C input. -Excellent stand with swivel, up/down, tilt. -IPS panel which is best for general computer usage. Gamers might prefer a different panel with faster response. -Integrated speakers. Nothing special but convenient to have. -Very good build quality and image quality.

> 3 dayUsed it as a side monitor for my 13 inch mac. Obviously this monitor’s screen is not as goos as the mac’s, but totally worth the money and I m still happy with it. Make sure to buy a usb c cable that supports video streaming up to 2k.

> 3 dayOther reviews talk about the picture and the lack of a USB-C cable. They have heard and now include a 10Gb/s 1m long cable which works fine. The built-in speaker sound quality is not as good a the build-in late model MacBook Pro laptop, but is ok. The USB-C cable allows for the monitor to be almost be a docking station. After a month of our family using 2 of these monitors, Ive raised it to 5-stars.

> 3 dayTo start, let me reiterate whats already been shared. This monitor will only work with a Mac laptop with a USB-C 3.1 connector. I originally tried using my USB-C charging cable that I use to power my laptop and that DOES NOT WORK. I went to the Apple Store to buy a Belkin USB-C 3.1 cable. I told the Apple Store clerk I needed this cable for use with a Monitor and they tried convince me I would need a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable instead. I ended up buying both and they both work, but I will be returning the Thunderbolt cable because it was $10 more expensive (And .2 meters shorter ). I should gone with my gut, now I have another errand to run. Just get the Belkin USB-C 3.1 and the monitor is plug and play! I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this monitor, after adjusting the Color/Brightness/Contrast Ive got it matching my Mac laptop Retina display very nicely. I will say, the brightness on the laptop can go maaaybe a hair brighter than the monitor, but its barely noticeable. Also the sharpness on the monitor looks great, but its not quite as clear as the laptop. That means this probably isnt the best monitor for high end detailed Video/Graphic design work, but for everything else this monitor is excellent. The aspect ratio on the monitor is a little wider than the laptop so you have to deal with a tiny sliver of letterboxing on the laptop. (You can also opt for vertical letterboxing on the monitor, but this doesnt look as good). Other great features: The USB-C 3.1 cable will charge your laptop while also presenting the display. There are an additional 3 standard USB ports. Ive tested out the usb connections and the devices Ive tested have worked perfectly with my laptop. This is a great bonus. Also, the stand was so easy to set up. The monitor snaps into place and the base screws into the neck with a single flat head screw (But it has a twist handle so you dont even need a screw driver. The stand is heigh adjustable and also rotates about its vertical axis and tilts up and down. The best part is it also rotates about its depth axis so you can work on projects in Portrait rather than landscape orientation. Perfect for writing. The speakers on this thing are awful, but I cant imagine anyone would buy a monitor for audio quality. Grab a pair of external speakers and youll be set. Overall, this a great deal for a very good 1440p monitor with some useful additional features. I recommend it for use with a mac laptop for anything other than high end video/graphic work. For everyday use, its excellent.

> 3 dayOverall this really is an outstanding monitor. Not the lowest cost, but not high either. The picture is crystal clear and that is the main thing. The stand is one of the best I have seen. Smaller footprint but sturdy and loaded with features. Also hats off to Viewsonic for the formed paper packaging instead of styrofoam. Very nice environmental touch and you deserve a star just for that. I hope that more companies go this route. There are a couple of issues I will list but mostly these are nitpiks. 1 - The finished side of the base faces the rear of the monitor. The less finished side faces the front. You will see this in any picture. The back facing of the base looks great but it really should be facing the front. 2 - The brightness needs to be turned up especially in a bright room. Not bad but it is a little dimmer naturally, so a higher brightness setting is needed. 3 - No Display Port cord. Personally I would rather it shipped with a DP cord than an HDMI cord, but that is me. It does come with the USB cord and USB - C cord, but that DP cord would have been a better option. I had to buy 2 for the dual monitor setup I use. Again these are really just nitpiks and nothing that would stop this monitor from receiving 5 stars.

> 3 dayGenerally is good performance for price. I purchased this item for true 8bit color depth and other graphical parameters. But Firmware updating cannot support for VG2455-2K Model is is bad. Pros Good picture quality Color depth 8bit USB TYPE-C fast charging support New technologies supported Const Firmware updates cannot support for this model VG-24552K 2x2 watt speakers Sound quality is not perfect but so-so Item weight is so high for its dimensions.

12-11-2024Update: both monitors I purchased have started making quiet whistling noises, sounds similar to the noise made by an old hard drive when its seeking lots of data. This monitor has a super annoying feature where it changes the backlight brightness based on how much white is onscreen. This makes it impossible to set your brightness to a comfortable level. If you use dark mode apps like I do, you adjust your brightness so theyre readable. BUT, then if you open a light mode window, all of a sudden the monitor ramps up the brightness and its blindingly bright. Very stupid feature, very frustrating, defeats the whole point of setting the brightness. After a lot of digging through menus, I finally found a way to turn off the auto brightness. Its under Setup Menu -> ECO Mode. On a different topic, my macbook pro refuses to remember that this monitor is rotated, but that could be apples fault. Also, this monitor has a game mode which presumably runs faster, but it makes all the colors look washed out and ugly.

> 3 dayI was in the market for an affordable 26inch+ USB-C monitor for my new Dell XPS 15 Laptop. I wanted it to have 3 things: 1. USB-C for power and video 2. Greater than 1080p resolution 3. Good tilt and swivel This monitor was the only one I found that fit these criteria and was under $400. The mechanism to attach the monitor to the base is very good, easy to connect and seems very secure. It also requires no tools. The bezel is very thin on the tops and sides, a little bigger at the bottom. I has some usb inputs on the monitor also, which are useful. The only downside is that the XPS I have requires 130v power input, which is very high for a laptop, and so you get a message about slow charger connected when using the usb-c here for video and charging. I dont know that many monitors or cables could pass through that much power anyway? Most laptops require less wattage and should have no issues. Overall a very good looking monitor. Would definitely recommend.
