> 3 dayTo start, let me reiterate whats already been shared. This monitor will only work with a Mac laptop with a USB-C 3.1 connector. I originally tried using my USB-C charging cable that I use to power my laptop and that DOES NOT WORK. I went to the Apple Store to buy a Belkin USB-C 3.1 cable. I told the Apple Store clerk I needed this cable for use with a Monitor and they tried convince me I would need a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable instead. I ended up buying both and they both work, but I will be returning the Thunderbolt cable because it was $10 more expensive (And .2 meters shorter ). I should gone with my gut, now I have another errand to run. Just get the Belkin USB-C 3.1 and the monitor is plug and play! I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this monitor, after adjusting the Color/Brightness/Contrast Ive got it matching my Mac laptop Retina display very nicely. I will say, the brightness on the laptop can go maaaybe a hair brighter than the monitor, but its barely noticeable. Also the sharpness on the monitor looks great, but its not quite as clear as the laptop. That means this probably isnt the best monitor for high end detailed Video/Graphic design work, but for everything else this monitor is excellent. The aspect ratio on the monitor is a little wider than the laptop so you have to deal with a tiny sliver of letterboxing on the laptop. (You can also opt for vertical letterboxing on the monitor, but this doesnt look as good). Other great features: The USB-C 3.1 cable will charge your laptop while also presenting the display. There are an additional 3 standard USB ports. Ive tested out the usb connections and the devices Ive tested have worked perfectly with my laptop. This is a great bonus. Also, the stand was so easy to set up. The monitor snaps into place and the base screws into the neck with a single flat head screw (But it has a twist handle so you dont even need a screw driver. The stand is heigh adjustable and also rotates about its vertical axis and tilts up and down. The best part is it also rotates about its depth axis so you can work on projects in Portrait rather than landscape orientation. Perfect for writing. The speakers on this thing are awful, but I cant imagine anyone would buy a monitor for audio quality. Grab a pair of external speakers and youll be set. Overall, this a great deal for a very good 1440p monitor with some useful additional features. I recommend it for use with a mac laptop for anything other than high end video/graphic work. For everyday use, its excellent.

> 3 dayThis monitor is AWESOME! It looks good, it was easy to set up, and the picture is great. But the best part is the USB-C. Im using a ThinkPad T16 and with this monitor, I dont need my dock or my AC adapter anymore! Now I just have a single USB-C cable coming from the monitor, I plug it into my ThinkPad, and Im ready to work! My USB mouse and USB headset are plugged into the monitor. The USB-C cable is driving the monitor, and its also charging my ThinkPad at the same time. How cool is that! If I had one suggestion about what could make this monitor better, I wish there were more USB ports on the back. There are 2 USB ports on the side, but I wish these were on the back instead, because that would help with cable management for peripherals like my mouse and headset which are always plugged into the monitor. One other thing - it comes with a USB-C cable; the product description doesnt say anything about this, and I ended up ordering a USB-C cable separately which was not needed.

> 3 dayHeads up if youre counting on the included cables. The item description says the monitor includes DP to DP Cable, and USB 3.0 Cable; I paid attention specifically because we could have used those cables to connect our 3 computers to the 2 monitors (not at the same time) we bought. Instead, they came with HDMI, USB-A to USB-B, and USB 3.1 Type C cables. Our computers dont have HDMI ports, but the others should have been fine; but they didnt work, monitor said No Signal. I spent over 2 hours trying to make them work. I then spoke with Apple support and they said the included cables werent strong enough to carry the signal. I went out and bought Type-C Thunderbolt (to replace what didnt work) and DP cables (which should have been included), and the monitors worked plug-and-play like they should. Not clear why would they sent different cables than in the product description, or include cables not strong enough to carry a signal; but assume youre going to have to pay extra to buy cables that will work. BTW the monitors shipped directly from the manufacturer, so it is their issue, not the sellers.

Greater than one weekI’m a software engineer by trade, and these monitors are absolutely incredible. 1440p resolution and the option to turn them portrait mode are must-haves for me now. I have two with a DisplayLink dock in a work-from-home setup and it’s better than any hardware we had in the office.

Greater than one weekunfortunately NOT compatible with my Mac Mini Nov. 2018. After a few tries it stopped connectingvia the adapter to the USb-C port. Also it corrupted my external hard drive.

> 3 dayThe monitor is used in my 3 screen workstation for CAD and pdf work. It is a good monitor with clean images. It does have this habit of giving me a black screen and no input message about once per week. My other two monitors do not. It requires me to remove power cord and plug back in to clear it. I keep using it because the price was right. This unit is a little over a year old.

Greater than one weekIve read a number of comments about IPS displays having backlighting issues (excessive brightness in the corners, bleedthrough, etc.). I cant see any such deficiency in this display. The brightness seems quite even across and down. The controls (brightness, contrast, etc.) are easy to access and use. The 2560 x 1440 resolution and 27 size makes it abut as close as you can get to a 27 iMac (pre-Retina, of course). I wish it was a glossy display (as I love that about iMacs), but I dont find the slightly matte finish reducing clarity. The extra inputs will be convenient should I decide to add another computer to the mix. There are certainly cheaper displays out there but this one ticks all the boxes and even has a three year warranty.

> 3 dayI like this monitor. The picture is very good and the mounting stand makes positioning the screen easy.
