> 24 hourI performed so much research on these monitors, as I have some at work and wanted some for home office. Very confusing to research these as their model numbering is difficult. First, I really like these monitors, which is why I bought x2 for home (vg2755 1080). The daisy chaining is awesome, which comes to my 1 star rating. The xx55s dont allow you to! Absolute nonsense as VS markets the awesomeness of USB-C allowing you dock the monitors to each other (which these monitors are usb-c). You have to get at least x1 xx56 and then connect a second monitor such as the xx55. But wait, there is more! Not all xx56s let you!!! It looks like the 4k version does not, but the 2k does? and what of the size differences? I am sorry to give such a low score to something I like but that marketing needs to be far more truthful in what they are advertising.

> 24 hourI had an older 19 monitor and replaced it with this one; the picture/video quality is significantly better; screen rotation works great this model has a nice set of ports for connectivity.

> 24 hourThis is to directly compete with Samsungs SH850. Difference from SH850: - Display Panel: IPS vs PLS - USB-C charge: 65W vs 45W. - DisplayPort daisy chain: No vs Yes - USB2 connection from computer: Yes vs No - Audio: lame speakers vs. Audio Out Jack - Eye care mode: not sure vs. Yes - Price: Same - Size/Resolution: Same Otherwise, other specs are similar. The stand on this looks a bit slicker, with a handle to carry. I picked this because its got better review and slightly newer in release date, and the wrong info in its description that its 75Hz. Its not 75Hz, just 60. Everything is great. I dont care about daisy chaining DP and the extra USB2 connection from computer is very nice. But then I decided to return it and get the SH850. Because for some reason, they decided they need to include speakers, but ones so lame that its very far off even compare to my cheap laptops built-in speakers. Literally I just want it to be loud enough, as loud as my incredibly cheap laptops lamest speakers. I checked and all volume are set to 100%. If they dont want to include speakers that are just loud enough, at least just leave it out and include an audio out jack so I can add my own ones, that I dont need another wire plugging into the computer.

> 24 hourMy desk isnt very large so Id appreciate 24 monitors and this fits my desk quite well. The functionality, screen colors and ease of setup are all generally good enough.

> 24 hourOther reviews talk about the picture and the lack of a USB-C cable. They have heard and now include a 10Gb/s 1m long cable which works fine. The built-in speaker sound quality is not as good a the build-in late model MacBook Pro laptop, but is ok. The USB-C cable allows for the monitor to be almost be a docking station. After a month of our family using 2 of these monitors, Ive raised it to 5-stars.

> 24 hourTry both Anker and Cable Matters video cables, this monitor only works for wife MacBook Air 2020, but not for my MacBook Pro 2018 nor sons MacBook Air 2019. Try upgraded to Catalina 10.15.4 , reset NVRAM but still no luck, very frustrated and hope someone knows the solution.

> 24 hourJust set mine up and it works great. Easy to put together, picture immediately looks excellent once plugged in. Also, I read in some reviews that those with Apple products would need to order a separate USB-C to USB-C cable for proper connection and charging. This appears to no longer be the case – that cable was INCLUDED in the box from ViewSonic (along with the power cord, an HDMI cable, and a USB A-to-B cable). Plugged it in and the monitor immediately began charging my Macbook Air 13 while my dual screens synced perfectly. Hope this saves some folks the $20 I spent on a cable from Apple!

> 24 hourHeads up if youre counting on the included cables. The item description says the monitor includes DP to DP Cable, and USB 3.0 Cable; I paid attention specifically because we could have used those cables to connect our 3 computers to the 2 monitors (not at the same time) we bought. Instead, they came with HDMI, USB-A to USB-B, and USB 3.1 Type C cables. Our computers dont have HDMI ports, but the others should have been fine; but they didnt work, monitor said No Signal. I spent over 2 hours trying to make them work. I then spoke with Apple support and they said the included cables werent strong enough to carry the signal. I went out and bought Type-C Thunderbolt (to replace what didnt work) and DP cables (which should have been included), and the monitors worked plug-and-play like they should. Not clear why would they sent different cables than in the product description, or include cables not strong enough to carry a signal; but assume youre going to have to pay extra to buy cables that will work. BTW the monitors shipped directly from the manufacturer, so it is their issue, not the sellers.
