    I love this knife so much that I bought one for my best friend for Christmas this year. Being so long, its great for chopping nuts because it fits all the way across the nuts as they expand during chopping. Great for melons and large squashes. Cutting fudge, brownies, cakes, etc. is easy. My only complaint is that the knifes handle grip is slightly taller than the knife blade, so the handle hits the cutting surface and suspends the handle end of the knife blade a tiny bit above the cutting surface. The blade should be a little deeper than the handle, not vice-versa. But the blade length is special and very, very useful. It more than offsets the small flaw in the handle height.

    I have many Zwilling knives, they’re amazing but also very very high priced. I feel just as comfortable grabbing any of my victorinox knives. It gets the job done for a whole lot less. I recommend it

    You can make razor thin slices with this on roasts, steak, etc. Saw this recommended on TV. Great knife.

    A lightweight, easy to grip, well-balanced slicing knife. The edge is superb and has thus far been simple to maintain; a few passes through a fixed, double edged, ceramic sharpener and 8 or 10 strokes on a steel and the edge is actually sharper than when I removed it from the box! This knife makes it very simple to slice brisket, steaks of any cut, tri-tips, roast beef, ham or turkey. You must have one for your kitchen.

    Made carving nice, thin slices of turkey a breeze. Sliced the skin off a raw pork shoulder with ease (a task that used to be a chore with the kitchen sheers). Trimmed the fat-cap on a pork butt to the perfect depth. The handle is grippy even when your hands are coated in grease. Totally worth the money.

    Takes and holds a remarkable sharp edge. Slices any meat I have tried it on, cuts bread cleanly, is well balanced, handle is comfortable and easy to grip, ... I could go on and on. Its shape makes it a knife exclusively for slicing, but it is the best knife I have ever used for that job. It is worth every penny and more.

    Really nice sharp, thin blade and cuts smooth. The only reason not 5 stars is the blade is a bit flexible. May not matter in the long run. Sliced thru chicken breast and ribeye with ease
