> 24 hourI am horrible at math. I mean HORRIBLE! I bought this at the tail end of my algebra class and it was okay for what use I got out of it. Now I’m in Chemistry and omg, it has helped me so much! It’s been trial and error in trying to figure out the functions of this calculator but for someone who’s never used something like this, it was easy enough. I’m excited to use it in my Statistics class next term.

> 24 hourMy Son Needed one of these for school. I was balking at paying $200 plus for a calculator, Jreysjore had a used one for a little over half price. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package- it looks brand new!

> 24 hourI’ve used TI calculators for about 25 years, from the 30 to the 84 to the 89 and now the CX II CAS. All of them were fantastic for their time, but those who want to get the most out of their calculator in 2022 should go for this one. Specifically it’s best for people who need to do calculus, physics, and engineering. Those who are only in algebra courses may be better off with the new TI-84 Plus CE. The CX II CAS is well designed and easy to use. It’s surprisingly thin and lightweight. It charges with a mini USB cord and last for at least a few weeks of regular use which is amazing. Calculations are very fast, and it has some tools like spreadsheets and python built in, but these are pretty clunky compared to using a computer. I’m not sure why someone wouldn’t use a computer for that anyway. It also comes with a free copy of a virtual calculator program you can use on your computer. I’d recommend this for any math, physics, or engineering college student, or possibly high school as well.

> 24 hourThis is the ultimate calculator. I used to have a TI 84 Plus CE but once I hit Calc 3 it no longer was able to keep up with the level of math concepts I was being taught. This calculator has so many available functions and the ability to simply type on the keyboard makes it even better. Totally worth every penny.

> 24 hourI like nearly everything about this calculator, except for the fact that it uses the old school USB charging port of Type B mini. Why in the world did they not finally upgrade to USB Micro or better yet, USB C?! I understand that they standardized with their other products, but at some point, they have to ditch the old. Aside from the charging port, I really like this calculator and highly recommend it. There is a bit of a learning curve to using it as it is quite a bit different from the standard TI-84 and such, but it is way more powerful. The touchpad is also a bit tricky, but usually, it cooperates with me.

> 24 hourI regret getting the TI-Nspire CX II CAS for my high schooler because his Algebra II teacher uses the TI-84 in class to demonstrate how to do problems. He can’t follow along on his calculator as it is set up differently, so has to borrow one in class. Teacher suggested he may want the TI-84 so he can practice with it at home.. She mentioned the Nspire can’t be used in the SATs. The TI product page indicates it can’t be used in the ACT exams.
