SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone

escucho musica todo el dia y no me cansa ni me fastidan, el sonido es tan perfecto que puedes escuchar musica a un volumen muy bajo y aun disfrutar cada sonido. los recomiendo 100% es una excelente inversion para los que escuchamos musica todo el dia todos los dias y un sonido inigualable

This headphone is good, but not a great buy compared to Sennheisers own HD 600/650/6xx series.

so after owning for the first week or so I thought these headphones were good not great, my DT1990 PROS were great.i decided to do a couple upgrades to the HD660S new high end 1.2m cable and replaced the earpads with a set of sheepskin nu fantasia earpads for HD650 about a $125.00 investment, but well worth it these headphones now sit right beside my DT1990 PROS and sound great .these 2 items changed the sound of these cans dramatically for the better.not sure if the original cable was faulty or if the pads make all the difference, but I was gonna change the cable regardless .I do wish sennheiser wouldve thrown in a shorter 1.2m cable also, seeing the cost of these cans.

These headphones clamp a bit too hard on my head and not super comfortable. They do sound pretty good especially considering their relatively low price. That said, I ended up sending them back - I prefer Grado 325s for general music listening and HiFiMans HE6ses for acoustic and jazz. Funny story: the clerk at the Whole Foods Amazon return desk couldnt believe I was returning them ;)

Believe or not, I went to shop to buy HD800 or HD820 model. Last week I was in Europe and felt that it is finally time to buy expensive headphones. I own Sony XM3, Audio Technica DSR7, Beyers DT770 Pro, Asus Rog Delta and among them Beyers are the best in sound quality. I was planning to test Audeze LCD-XC, LCD-2 closed, Denon D7200, D5200 and after listening several models the seller guy told me that these SENNHEISERs are best in sound / price ratio. Tell the truth I was never liked SENNHEISER models, for me they were something from out of my music universe. Yes Audeze and Denon models sound fantastic, but man, they costed 890-1400 usd price range. And here this guys insist that, just listen these, they cosu only 340 euro in Europe. Just listen, he persuaded me. Frankly speaking I went there to buy SENNHEISER HD800. which I like for their design and I select 3 models from SENNHEISER to compare. These ones (HD660), 800 and 820. I was surprised that HD800 was not fitting normal in my head, its sitting position is somehow wrong, I mean they just didnt fit / close my ears normally. Such expensive headphones and such terrible sitting ergonomics. In regard of sound they sounded good, but as far as I can hear simply little bit better than 660s. And the price difference was 4x... I thought, man, if this baby (660s) sounds so good why the hell I should pay 1400 usd for heads that just sound similarly? I have tested also new Momentum 4, which was terrible for me, I dont know but they sounded very distorted with my Astell Kern player. But these 660s... Oh my god, it was so punchy, so dynamic, so damn good! And imagine how fantastic they sound with my iBasso DX300 player which is a real monster!

I am audiophile at heart. I have the Astell & Kern SE 100 and was looking to upgrade my cans. I have found them. The 600S are awesome. The detail is simply stunning, 2.5mm balanced cable (purchased separate cable) or the supplied 3.5mm cable. Soundstage outstanding, every instrument in the orchestra stands out in exciting detail. The mids and highs are right on. The lows are well pronounced. I simply love them. Thank you Sennheiser.

Compré los audífonos pensando en Música y contenido HiFi, Pero destacan MUCHO en los juegos. El Soundstage es el mejor que he tenido, incluso mejor que pesos pesados en el audio como son los HE400, los M50x y los K712. En los juegos de disparos, especialmente en los juegos multijugador puedes escuchar a tus enemigos acercarse, y además puedes saber de que lado vienen. Sumamente útil en Counter Strike y Call of Duty.

I have really enjoyed my Sennheiser headphones, the sound quality is excellent. I have purchased replacement ear cushions a few times as the original ones dont last forever and after trying to wash them, they were just gross. But these headphones are worth every penny!

Had my eyes on these for a while. When I saw they were 40% off I simply had to pull the trigger. And WOW am I thoroughly impressed. Paired them with a Schiit Hel2 dac/amp and the sound is absolutely incredible. Tested them on some music and did some gaming (Call of Duty). The sound is so crisp and when I was playing CoD footsteps and everything are so easy to pick up. The build quality is really high quality too, even down to the finish on the cords, everything has the feeling of something superior quality.
