SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone

Yo tenía unos HD 599 y quería actualización por lo que pensaba en HD 600 y AKG 712 pro y terminé comprando los segundos y son bastante buenos, pero agarré los HD 660S en oferta y después de probar varias horas los AKG y los HD, los HD resultaron ser bastante superiores y cuestan casi lo mismo, el sonido es muy nitido y como yo los utilizo para escuchar música y videojuegos no tuve que ecualizar nada, a comparación de los HD 600 los S tienen buenos graves mejores que los AKG 712 pro, los probé con diferentes DAC y el zen dac v2 con salida balanceada me dió los mejores resultados para estos audífonos, desde mi gusto claro

These headphones sound amazing, and I love the feel of the soft felt ear pads. It is most impressive when you adjust it to your listening preferences: because the HD660S is designed for a flat frequency response, I turned up the bass on the amp EQ to give the music the fullness and power that I prefer. This generates clean, deep bass when the EQ is adjusted.

Tengo una buena colección de los audífonos para audio estudio, entre ellos HD600, HD650 y ahora HD660S. Todos tienen sus puntos fuertes pero HD660 S para mi tiene el sonido mas detallado

sounds like someone turned up your bass and treble...they are too tight fitting and sometimes hurt my ears. There are a lot of plugs and adapters to make them work. The cord is too long and gets wound up on everything. It needs an amp.DAC to sound the best. You cant plug in to your phone with the amp...it overheats your phone. I mostly use my phone for streaming. It sounds the best plugged into my laptop with DAC/amp adaptor. I use a cobalt Dragonfly, it looks like a flashdrive plugs into USB. I had my Dragonfly a week and bent it, Ill have to buy another one. So, the music is good when you are set up right, but I liked my old Sennheiser much better, but the cable broke and you cant find another that fits. I think that I would rather have the noise cancelling headphones, because you can still hear ambient noise. The fit has not relaxed, and I dont have a big head.

I use them for gaming, they are a significant upgrade from any gaming headset you can buy, ive owned them all. they are comfortable as heck. noise canceling is not great but really thats not what you bought these for. enjoy.
